How much so should I bring down the A.I.S. Veyer Revsan? I created it as a super ship that the Agzarai were planning on using to destroy Earth and Hizdriar. However, my idea was to destroy this ship and make the Agzarai really mad. Once they did that, they would become reckless, and make a few wrong moves. Don't worry, I won't destroy Earth. I can bring that ship down, but not TOO much.
---------------
But then, Rooster realizes a small problem. "Uh, Rizgar, how are we, um, supposed to, uhh, get into Agzarai space in an Arada??"
Rizgar looks up for a moment, just then realizing that problem. But then he smiles. "I have installed a special kind of holographic projector, my own invention. It will make us look like an Agzarai gunboat. I can even make our weapons look holographic.
"However, there is one problem; impersonating. There's absolutely no way to impersonate an Agzarai, even with holograms, and we can't just try to find a traitor. There's only about 2 in the entire Agzarai Empire. We'll have to use cloaks.
"We'll also have to find a pretty ingenious and sneaky way to get past all the force fields and the 1,391 other types of Agzarai security devices. They've also been known to let people think they're undetected, but then the Agzarai just rush in and get them. We must be VERY careful."
After Rooster hears all this, he doesn't look very optimistic (sp?). Rizgar smiles. "Don't worry. I've infiltrated Corocian HQ, Azdgari HQ, and even Silver Fleet HQ quite easi... Oops! I wasn't supposed to say that! Sorry."
Rooster smiles. "Don't worry." And then the Lone Darkness slipstreams towards Agzaraia Prime.

Oasa and Bubba, if you start a new story I will definitely join. The original LBS was much more fun. Now there is too few people controlling way to many super powerful races.
------------------ ---------------------- Give them shell! give them solid shot! Damn them, give them anything!
I'll probably start one soon.
------------------ Ganna paint our wagon, Ganna paint it good, We ain't braggin', We're ganna coat that wood!
But first we have to finish up this story.
There really isn't much to finish up. Besides I think the people who post here have already grown tired with it. Lets come up with a good idea here and then have either rooster or daedulus start the new one and be moderators. I think they do a pretty good job.
My idea: I think the story should start with some sort of renegade uprising. Also I don't think people should control goverments. Just characters. You can of course assist goverements and maybe even become Officers of fleets etc. but controlling a whole goverement isn't as fun. Also, technological advances should be small and not often. In the first LBS the only tech advances where things like a big ship or a new kind of turret. Anyone else with ideas, comments, or suggestions?
I think that the story shouldn't start out with a story, kind of like the first LBS. It would be a story between different characters. We should all start off small with a small fleet (6 ships max). We could work for whatever race we want. I like the idea of controlling governments but I agree with Buba that controlling many large governments can make it boring. Governments should be limited to a few planets that a character aquires through the story. Each person may control only one character.
Those are my comments, anyone else.

I guess thats good. You or rooster start it.
I will let rooster start it since he is the original starter of the LBS series. He is also good with titles.
Rooster wants to keep things that where made in LBS and have some sort of a 'wake up from a dream' and start the new story somewhere in LBS I or II. I disagree with him thinking that we should start completly over. However, he puts up a good point that people have worked hard to get where they are now in the story and that to just cut it off would be bad. Anyones comments?
I don't know if it would be bad, it would just be a new story. Besides, different people can join easier if we start over. Personally I wouldn't mind being daedalus the almost infamous renegade again. I say we start with the original EVO universe after the UE string. Different characters can choose what governments they have worked for but only one strand. I will miss the silverfleet and my home on F-25 but maybe I can reclaim it in this new life/story.
I agree... we should start over. Rooster?
Since this story is obviously coming to an end, can I make the last post in "The Lone Darkness" and bring an end to the Agzarai threat?
Go ahead...
To Everyone: I have enjoyed this story board, it was fun while it lasted. I must also appologize to you all. During this story board, I have been a bit unrealistic at times, and have argued far too much with you all, and I am sorry. During the next series of story boards, I will be more careful.
To Rooster: Myself, and I am sure that everyone else who posted on the LBS Series, thanks you for starting this story board in the first space.
In this last post, I will assume Rooster is back on Earth and Rizgar is on Azdgari. They both went to Agzarai Prime, and learned on the A.I.S. Veyer Revsan. I will also assume that the Agzarai withdrew from their attack on the Voinians, Kenienati, and Guardian Alliance.
I will now make the closing post...
------------------------------ INCOMING MESSAGE PRIORITY 1 ENCODE LEVEL 6-5-9-12 MESSAGE DESTINATION: ROOSTER - DAEDALUS - NOVA6 - LONEVOINIAN - RAMA - BUBAGANOOSH MESSAGE:
To All Defenders of the Milky Way and Fighters of the Agzarai,
This is Captain Carnotaur, admiral of the entire Azdgari Fleet who serves under the Emporer of the Azdgari Empire, Intimidator. I have just recieved word from Rooster and a Ruccannan mercenary named Rizgar, that the Agzarai Empire has just launched the ultimate weapon, the A.I.S. Veyer Revsan, a massive vessel larger than Earth and capable of destroying a small planet. This vessel is now on its way to the Hizdriar system to destroy the planet Hizdriar. Once it is finished with that planet, it will attack Earth. It may even attack F-25, Huron, or even Azdgari next.
However, we will not allow this to happen.
I order the immediate evacuation of the Hizdriar system and the abandonment of the planet there. My geuss will be that when the A.I.S. Veyer Revsan arrives in the Hizdriar system, it will see its target open will destroy, the captain will be insulted, and the vessel will attack Sol.
That is where we shall group.
I want every government who recieves this communication to immediately send as many vessels as possible to the Sol system for the defense of Earth. The Ruccannan have volunteered the Ruccannan 7th fleet (8,000 ships) to help in the destruction of the A.I.S. Veyer Revsan. Although Daedalus wished for the Ruccannan to stay out of our galaxy, we need them to destroy the A.I.S. Veyer Revsan and bring an end to the Agzarai threat.
We shall wait in the Sol system for the A.I.S. Veyer Revsan. When it comes, we will destroy us.
Today, the future is uncertain. Tommarrow, the Agzarai will be ours. May luck be with us. Godspeed everyone!
END MESSAGE END MESSAGE
------------------------------
Only four days later, a massive fleet of 500,000 vessels of the "Milky Way Alliance" as Carnotaur so called it were assembled in the Sol system. Everyone, Rooster, Carnotar, Bubaganoosh, Nova6, Daedalus, Lonevoinian, and even Rama and the Guardian Alliance had sent ships to the Sol system. They waited for the arrival of the A.I.S. Veyer Revsan.
Then, suddenly, sub-space began to fluctuate (sp?) violently as a massive vessel approached. The A.I.S. Veyer Revsan, the uglies, most powerful, and biggest thing Carnotaur or anyone had ever seen, entered the system through a huge wormhole the size of Jupiter.
Carnotaur hailed the fleet. "The Agzarai are ours today! Engage to full impulse and all ships OPEN FIRE!"
The massive Milky Way Alliance fleet charged the massive A.I.S. Veyer Revsan. In the battle that was to be talked of throughout the century, the A.I.S. Veyer Revsan clashed with the mighty forces of the Milky Way. One weakness the A.I.S. Veyer Revsan had was that it could not destroy the huge swarms of vessels and fighters that the Milky Way Alliance launched at it.
However, even this huge fleet could not stop the A.I.S. Veyer Revsan from moving forward. Although it could not go very fast, especially when a large amount of its energy was being channeled into weapons and shields, the A.I.S. Veyer Revsan still crept towards Earth from the outer part of the Sol system.
Fighters smashed into the A.I.S. Veyer Revsan's own fighters, beams of all kinds collided with the dreadnaughts massive shields, huge warships willingly flung themselves at the Agzarai mothership in a desperate effort to destroy it before it reached Earth.
Rooster's own ship, the Zodiac, weaved in and out of Plasma beams and tried in vain to evade the huge cloud of plasma pulses. Rooster orded to open up with all weapons. As the Zodiac zoomed towards the A.I.S. Veyer Revsan, the first hull breach appeared. As the Zodiac pulled up and away from the Agzarai mothership, more Corocian vessels moved in to enlarge the breach with heavy weapons fire.
By now the A.I.S. Veyer Revsan was at Saturn.
This massive battle continued on, the A.I.S. Veyer Revsan slowly getting weaker and weaker, but it kept on going.
The huge G'st'ar'ryh'htn Azdgari Dreadnaught (a design given to Lone by Carnotaur) G.S.S. Lonevoinian (Lonevoinian's personnal ship) moved towards one of the A.I.S. Veyer Revsan's main engines. Lonevoinian fired a massive barrage of weapons fire, which destroy the engine, slowing the Veyer Revsan down a bit. However, it still had other, larger engines to work on.
The Rogue fleet charged the A.I.S. Veyer Revsan's main bridge section, trying to destroy it quickly and make the A.I.S. Veyer Revsan inoperable. However, the armor was too thick, and Nova6 (in his Rogue Cruiser) mainly consontrated on the engines to help slow down the A.I.S. Veyer Revsan.
The A.I.S. Veyer Revsan was at Mars.
The Silver Fleet ship, the TR Revelation, suddenly exited slipstream and entered the battle. Splitting up into thousands of ships, the TR Revelation was just the thing that the Milky Way Alliance fleet needed. Daedalus's own ship, a Silver Fleet Cruiser, was also engaged in the battle.
The A.I.S. Veyer Revsan was within weapons range of Earth.
As the massive fleet tried to get out of the explosion radius of Earth, which was surely doomed, Carnotaur and Intimidator (who were engaged in the battle) as well as Rooster, decided to make one last effort to destroy the already heavily weakened A.I.S. Veyer Revsan.
The three of their vessels, the C.W.S. Zodiac, the A.E.S. Intimidator, and the A.E.S. Carnotaur charged the A.I.S. Veyer Revsan's Omega Particle Beam. As the weapon powered up to destroy Earth, the three tiny vessels approached the emitter, and fired for all they were worth at it.
Suddenly...
The A.I.S. Veyer Revsan exploded in a massive fireball and explosion which nearly enveloped the remaining fleet and Earth itself. As everyone watched as the explosion cleared and the wreckage floated away, they were sure Rooster, Carnotaur, and Intimidator were dead.
But then...
Out of the explosion, three ships emerged. Though scorched, heavily damaged, and near death, the C.W.S. Zodiac, the A.E.S. Intimidator, and the A.E.S. Carnotaur emerged from where the A.I.S. Veyer Revsan used to have been.
Everyone on every single ship in the entire Sol system cheered.
Two days later, on Earth, the leaders of the main powers of the galaxy, and a lot of their friends, met at the Sol system, on Earth, to celebrate the victory over the Agzarai. During those two small days, the Agzarai had completely evacuated the Milky Way, going back to their own universe bitterly defeated. They had then turned the three main wormholes that they used into black holes.
The Ruccannan also went back to their own universe, but Rizgar decided to stay in the Milky Way (but still visit the Ruccannan from time to time.
Carnotaur, at the celebration, got up to speak in front of the crowd. "Friends, citizens of the galaxy, today we celebrate a momentous victory. We have finally defeated the Agzarai Empire.
"But this victory came with a price. The Agzarai have decimated our galaxy, and over half of our fleet defending Earth was destroyed. But, we still have won.
"Before any of this happened, we all never had any idea of what was to occure. Rooster never thought that one day he would control the Corocian Alliance and own Earth. Daedalus probably never knew that one day he would fly silver ships through the sky in peace. Bubaganoosh probably also didn't know that we would control the South Tip. And I definitely never knew, and neither did Intimidator, my dad," Carnotaur seemed to choke up a bit. "That we would once become the two commanders of a great empire, just like the Corocians and Silver Fleet."
Carnotaur looked at the crowd once more. "But I know one thing for sure.
"The galaxy is vast, and we will have much more adventures in the future."
The End
(This message has been edited by Captain Carnotaur (edited 01-19-2001).)
I have an addendum to add.
Rooster and Carnotaur, friends and enemies across a continuing wave of situations, shook hands once again. Rooster saw Rama in the corner, looking at the stars. Rooster walked over to him. Rooster: "I couldn't hope to understand...you lost it all. Even though you have been an enemy of most throughout time, my door will always be open for you." Rama smiled as Rooster had never expected possible. Then everybody gathered around Rooster at the table as he raised a glass. "Shakathra, there will be new light. The prophecy is fulfilled. Light has brought about darkness, and once again light shall tread upon our lands!" Then all could see, just as mysteriously as on Pax, the Emalgha standing opposite the table. He smiled, and we knew he and the galaxy were proud.
------------------ It is not fear that will destroy you, but the absence of it.
And thus ends the Light Behind the Shadow Trilogy
P.S. Maybe Rooster or I could copy it all down and then put it into a big story for the EVO chronicles.
I submitted half of the first page of LBS 1, but after two months i stopped watching for it.
Everybody please stop by my "EV Planetarion" thread and post your thoughts (i could use ppl like ya'll :)).

I would really like to start a new topic like this... If no one else will I'll start one...
/me claps loudly at Carnotaur. Nice ending. But I had an Azgarai Dreadnaught as my ship. Not a Colony Cruiser.
