I just skimmed through your post, but now that I read it, what you did to the Agzarai Dreadnaught could never have happened.
1-They have 140 layers of special Agzarai Heavy Ablative Armor. They disperse mesh fields. 2-Their special shields disperse Mesh Shields, and so does the sheer magnitude of their shield output.
But it doesn't really matter. Since only I can control those fleets, and since you posted about one of those fleets, I intigrate that into the story. That was a diversionary attack. The main attack is still to come. And about the dreadnaught, how about an prototype Agzarai Juggernaught? You could have destroyed one of them by meshing a ship into the middle of it. Deal?

To Rooster: From now on, when new governments appear, DO NOT have them in what used to be my space. I highly disagreed with giving up all those planets in the South Tip to the Huron Union. Next time, make them somewhere else (and that goes to everybody).

To Captain: You have the biggest empire of all time. It wouldn't hurt to give up a few systems in the South Tip. Besides... where else was I suppose to go? Also, please remember that as a huge empire it is extremely hard to maintain your superiority, and like most empires, you will probably and most definetly come to an end. I hope that end is near since your reign of terror and power is getting a little old.
Continuation:
Buba enters the slightly modified UE Destroyer, Orion , that is waiting in Dock 1: Section A. Walking to the bridge he begins barking orders at the crew. Slowly, engines roaring, the UE Destroyer lifts off the Dock, breaking through the atmospher of Mavs, and gradually moving away from the system center. The ship begins to enter jumpgate coordinates and vectors towards the jumpgate.
Crew Member: "Prepare for hyperjump in 3... 2....1"
The ship lurched forward and Buba stared on as the stars began to murge together in long streaks of light. A loud sound erupted through the Orion and began its journey to the Corocian capital.
Rooster: Is Earth still the Corocian capital? If not... could you tell me where?
------------------ uh... come back later
To Buba: Oh be quiet. I don't have any reign of terror. The Agzarai are making one.

Continuation....
Emporer Revsan: "Admiral Malagah, the time is ripe. Tell Piokshay to commence Operation Annihilation."
Admiral Malagah: "Immediately great Revsan!"
-----------
On the A.I.S. Shadow, flagship of the Agzarai 5th fleet...
"Admiral Piokshay, we have just recieved word from Agzarai headquarters. It says only one word - Begin."
Admiral Piokshay said nothing, just turned around in his massive bridge chair. "Bring power generators to full capacity. Prepare for the assault. Inform the fleet - we begin. The Voinians are ours today! For tomarrow will bring great victory!"
The entire Agzarai 5th fleet, all 12,000 vessels, was soon underway. Then, they cloaked, and entered the energy vortex...
As for the other Agzarai fleets, they too immediately went underway, and prepared to attack their targets...
In the Nauis system, target of the Agzarai 43rd fleet...
"Sir! Agzarai fleet exiting vortex!"
"Send out defense fleet!"
As the Corocians/Kenienati/Whatever defense force approached the Agzarai fleet, suddenly, the Agzarai fleet launched over four dozen Multi-Kenetic Neutronium Mines. The Corocians attempted to evade them, but the mines destroyed over 2/3rds of the defense fleet. The rest of the defenders were wiped out, and then Nauis itself was bombed out of existence.
In the Tilp system...
"Sir, I just got word. Nauis was destroyed..."
"SIR! Agzarai fleet exiting energy vortex!"
The Corocians put up a valiant fight, giving the 43rd fleet heavy lossess. But they were overwhelmed, and Tilp was bombed. However, suddenly, 30 Huron Union cruisers, 80 Huron Union turncoats, 150 Huron Union Helians, and 320 Huron Union Kraits entered the system. They drove the Agzarai away, with heavy lossess and the two regrouped. Then, 20 more Corocian cruisers entered the system and helped reinforce the HU fleet. The two fleets then charged each other...
--------------
In the Durala system...
"Sir! I just recieved a distress call from Tientu, DSN-1156, and Dyram are being attacked by massive Agzarai forces. What should we do?"
"Send out a message to all Corocian/Voinian ships in the surrounding systems - Regroup at Durala. We will make our stand here. Also inform all other Corocian/Voinian planets in this sector. Tell them to prepare for an Agzarai invasion."
"Sir! I was able to send out the message to all surviving ships in the surrounding systems, but my transmission to the other Corocian planets in this sector was cut off! They still have no idea about the...."
1/2 of the entire Agzarai 7th fleet entered the Durala system through an energy vortex. The Corocian vessels in the system (1,000 ships total, counting fighters and the defense force) immediately braced for battle.
The two fleets engaged each other and fought violently, however it was soon evident that the Agzarai were winning by a long shot. The Corocians didn't have enough firepower or ships to stop them. Soon, Dur and Ala were destroyed, and the Agzarai vessels moved on.
Now that Tientu, DSN-1156, Dyram (sp?), and Durala were destroyed by the Agzarai, Voinia, Svass, Mihal, Romit, Niot, and Fridion were under threat. However, the Corocian forces were more heavily fortified in those systems, and the Agzarai would have a hard time defeating them...
In the Gualon system...
"Sir, I just got word; Obron was destroyed. A massive Agzarai fleet is now heading our way, and they highly outnumber us."
Oasa paced nervously around his workstation. The Corocians had not yet responded. And he had just heard of the offensive against the Protectorate. Grave news indeed, he mused. The time to act decisively had to come. That time was now.
Quickly he ordered forty-seven supply ships prepared. Each would carry a payload of antimatter and a disruptor gun. Two were quickly sent to each Voinan border system. Their crews would be robotic. Their courses preprogrammed. Their signals masked as traders.
Two days later, the ships arrived in their uninhabited destination systems. One of each supply ship pair disgorged its volatile payload, and transmitted with all it's power this message:
"Fellow citizens of the Galaxy: We Voinans grow weary of battle. We fear these weapons off mass destruction. The outcome seems to be clear: domination of the Milky Way by alien invaders. We will have none of that for ourselves. The risk is too great. We have decided the only possible course of action is isolation. Voinans, before their contact with humanity, were completely self sufficient. We will stay that way."
With that, the supply ship counterparts powered up their disruptors and fired at the antimatter. Instantly they were destroyed, in a spectacular flash of light. But with them went something else: the hyperspace jump routes. The explosions had created massive black holes in each system - entirely unpenetrable by any ship.
To any outside observer, the Voinan Empire had ceased to exist.

FYI: the systems closed off were DSN-7617, Krraali, Pust, Avann, DSN-8359, Naogza, Kritstok, Iri, and Riden.
MODERATION: Sorry i've been gone for a while. Oasa, black holes exist in normalspace and pour into subspace. Therefore slipstream and even wormhole travel is still possible. Carno, i said quite a while ago that their was an uprising in the south tip, and you did nothing specific to try and hold it down. Unless there's pre-notice, no, i won't take your systems again for a new nation. I can't accept that with the high population of the Durala system there weren't massive reinforcements before the people were wiped out. If you want the Agzarai to keep making these excellent hit-and-run shots, they won't be able to hit such high population areas. Buba, Earth is now the capitol as before the Oasan War.
CONTINUATION: Administrator: "As noted in Section 21 of Corocian Law, the High Lieutenant shall be inaugerated into commanding office by twenty days of the High Commander's absence. High Lieutenant Daevan, i hereby declare you High Commander of the Corocian Alliance." Daevan: "Thank you. I will however continue to do everything possible to recover my leader and friend." Officer: "Commander Daevan, Prime Minister Ganoosh to see you Priority Alpha." Daevan proceeded to enter the High Conference Room with Buba and then sealed it off. Daevan: "May i presume and hope this pertains to the Commander's absence?"
------------------ It is not fear that will destroy you, but the absence of it.

To Oasa: Here is some information on Black Holes:
Black Holes are the remnants of large stars (Red Giants) that have gone supernova. All stars have a large gravity, like a dent in the fabric of space, and thus, the bigger the star, the bigger the dent in space. Red Giants create rather large dents. Because of our Suns smallish size, the planets in our Solar System roll around this small 'dent' slowly.
There are also two other types of stars that are the remnants of Red Stars gone supernova. One of them is the White Dwarf, which makes a much larger dent in space than a normal star, like our Sun. A White Dwarf is much denser than a normal star.
Another type of dead star is the Neutron Star, the superdense remnant of the core of a Red Giant gone supernova (a White Dwarf is the core remnant as well, just less dense). A Neutron Star is extremely dense, creating a very large dent in the fabric of space, almost a gravitational well, but not completely. Objects roll into this dent at half the speed of light.
A Black Hole is most dense of all the collapsed stars, creating a Gravitational Well in the fabric of space, from which not even light can escape. Objects that stray to close to a Black Hole are slowly sucked in at the speed of light. As they spiral downwards, they soon reach the Even Horizon, the point at which the escape velocity of an object - or light itself - becomes the speed of light (equivilent to hyperspace) and from which nothing can escape. Once something passes the Event Horizon, they will continue to be sucked down forever.
However, if you ever saw a Black Hole, you wouldn't see it. Black Holes suck up everything, even light, and thus no light reflects off them to reach our eyes. If you were to see something fall into a black hole, once it reached the event horizon, it would seem to hover there forever. This phenominon has to do with the fact that time becomes slower and slower as you near a black hole.
As you can see, Black Holes can only be created by collapsing stars. The 'Black Holes' that disruptor beams create are not true black holes. Their 'collapsed core' is merely a ball of sub-space energy (which is highly unstable, so the black hole could collapse at any time), simulating the Black Hole effect.
P.S. And besides, you would need something much bigger than just 1 Voinian supply ship to create that big of a bang. You would have to have something close to 50 supply ships, and the Agzarai wouldn't let them get away with it anyway.
P.P.S. Either way, the Agzarai can still come in. Only non-wormhole or non-slipstream capable races would be kept out.
No no no...
I remember something in the original LBS which stated that shooting a disruptor at antimatter created an immense black hole and a shockwave large enough to sever all hyperspace links, also preventing slipstream travel.
To Captain: Dude... you control half the map. How can you not have a reign of power??
Continuation: Buba turns to Daevan, "I'm sorry; however, there is nothing I can do yet to recover your Leader, Rooster." "Than why did you come?" asks Daevan, rather annoyed and upset. "I have a plan to weaken the Agzari, mainly so that the Huron Union can expand. I am coming to you because I need help. Because our goverment's lacks in numbers of fleet we need your size and strength to play a key role in our plan." Daevan, "What is your plan? The Agzari are quite large in numbers and have a strong alliance. It would be extremely difficult to ever get far into Agzari territory. It is amazing enough that your small Union was able to riot against them." Buba: "True... however, I have history on my side. First, before I reveal my plan, I need your agreement to help us. Will you?" Daevan replies...
Daevan thinks for quite some time. Daevan: "I can't say you have our unconditional support, but whatever you say here is confidential. You aren't risking anything by revealing your ideas. Please continue."
To Oasa: The Corocians and Voinians both do not possess Disruptor Beam technology. Only I do, and it is top secret. And I, nor anyone else, ever said anything about shooting it into anti-matter.
------------------
The Svass system easily fell to the Agzarai, since most of the Corocian/Voinian forces there had regrouped back to Voinia. Shortly after this, Niot fell to the Agzarai when the Corocians/Voinians withdrew to Fridion to stabilize their lines.
Meanwhile, an intense battle ensued between Agzarai forces and Guardian Alliance forces in the Gualon (should I change it to Hinavar?) system. Guardian forces their took heavy casualties, as did Guardian forces in Gamur. The Agzarai made a diversionary attack on the Yandros system to keep the Corocians from coming to the aid of the Guardian Alliance.
"Nova6, we have finished building the station in the DSN-4922 system."
"Good! Start building ships to take over the DSN-2131 system."
"Right sir!"
He walks off.
------------------ Long live the Rebellion!
Originally posted by Captain Carnotaur: **Recently my son, Carnotaur, has developed a new kind of devastating weapon: The Disruptor Beam. It works by using highly consontrated energy to split sub-space and thus creating massive amounts of energy. Most fighters would be instantly vaporized by this beam. To tell you more about this weapon, I turn over the floor to Carnotaur. (snip) However, because of its design, the Disruptor beam cannot work near either sub-space disturbances, or black holes. The results of firing this weapon would the be instant vaporization of any ship, vessel, or planet within 550 million nautical miles, about half a system. There would then be a massive shockwave, which would disrupt sub-space within 10 light years. Anything within the system would be destroyed. Hyperspace links would also be destroyed, and communication would be impossible until 8 hours after the explosion. Hyperspace may also not function. But dont worry. This only occures near major sub-space disturbances and black holes. **
My plan would work. And I reread LBS1, and you shared the technology. I can use it.
Considering our over 700 posts within the LBS, please quote where the Disruptor Beam was shared. Otherwise, i have no problem with it.
"Sir, the Mesh Smashers are in place. But do we really need to do this?" "Yes. If the Agzarai attacked, they would destroy us, so why not go out with a bang?" "Yes sir. Will you be on planet when it happens?" "Yes. I would be a hypocrite not to be." "Thank you, sir. It has been nice knowing you."

Uh, Lone, are you planning to just kill yourself?
And Oasa, I did NOT share my technology. But IF I did, I would not have shared the technology with you or the Voinians.
