To Nova: Yes, I propose an alliance. With the Corocians already distracted by the Agzarai, my ships and yours can hold them off.

--------- In the Caire system, the Raman Omega Class Transport watches as a wormhole opens in front of it. The defense arrays have been temporarily disabled. The first Agzarai begin coming out when the Omega fires a massive mesh at them and into the hole. The ships disappear and the Omega follows behind the mesh as it makes it way through the hole clearing a path through the Agzarai ships. When the Omega reaches the other side of the hole it finds a target, the ASG- 853 system. The Omega instantly arrives there and enters the Worm hole. After slowly going through the Wormhole, the Omega finds itself in the Notai system. It quickly meshes away out of danger to a big star to replenish its fuel. The Omega, with its 500 Raman Cruisers is now within range of the Rogue systems.

I've placed the slipbarrier, refined the colors on the circles, and deleted the Agzarai space in the Ancara's borders. Just wanted to help a little. The Agzarai have not attacked the Corocians. They would be fully focused with the entire warship fleet (800 resource allotments) on you. The Ramans have no way to provide you with ships as a vessel has to be equipped to use a slipstream or wormhole and can't just fly into one. The following are the resource allotments for ships:
Rogue - 10 systems, 1 reserve bonus, 250 warships Ramans - 10 systems, 2 reserve bonuses, 300 warships

------------------ Long live the Rebellion!
Um, Rooster, sorry but, Naogza is gone, the Agzarai attacked and destroyed the colony.
To Rama: Please tell us exactly how the Mesh Device works immediately.
----------------
As the fleet of 500 Raman cruisers passed through the system and prepared to Mesh away, suddenly, a massive energy vortex opened up, and a massive Agzarai fleet poured through. The Omega Transport attempted to destroy it, however, nothing happened! The Energy Vortex destabilized for a second, then restabilized, and the Agzarai fleet continued to pour through. However, these ships were not the ordinary cruiser or battlecruiser, they were carriers. Twenty five carriers in all, along with eighty destroyers, mostly invulnerable to the Mesh Device because of their special quantum singularity generators*. As the two fleets neared each other, the Agzarai carriers released their fighters. In all, there were around 200 fighters, and 200 interceptors.
The vast number of fighters was too much for the Raman fleet, who attempted to Mesh the Agzarai vessels. However, they could not do it fast enough, and the Agzarai destroyers were completely unaffected. The Agzarai fleet swarmed the helpless Raman cruisers, and soon, they, along with the Omega Transport, were space junk. The Agzarai lost half their fighters, thirteen carriers, and ten destroyers.
*-Agzarai Destroyers use a special Quantum Singularity Drive system in their engines and Quantum Singularity Pulse Cannons. The Singularitys disperse the Mesh Device field, and does not allow it be able to Mesh apart itself.
-------------
On Agzaria, at the Imperial Palace....
"Emporer Revsan, your plan has worked. The Ramans were unable to stop the Energy Vortex, and the Agzarai Destroyers were not affected by the Mesh Field."
The massive 13+ high Agzarai stood, and then spoke. "How usable is the Energy Vortex?" he said in his deep, loud voice which echoed through the palace.
"We can only use it in some places. Near the Slipbarrier, no. Near black holes, yes. Raman space will be a good target because of the large number of black holes. Randof is especially vulnerable."
"Attack that system immediately with the largest fleet you can get. I want to hold it! Also tell all ships in Raman space to converge on that system. The Ramans can't stop us now!"

Ramans - 10 systems, 2 reserve bonuses, 300 warships
Only 300 warships?

On the A.I.S. Incontrovertible, flagship of the Agzarai Dominator fleet...
"Sir! All ships are in position! We are ready to enter the Energy Vortex!"
"Good job. Send a message to the Igzaerah. Open the vortex."
Then, almost immediately, something that looked like a wormhole appeared. However, it was smaller, and more blue. It also sparkled a bit.
"Move forward!"
The Agzarai fleet (in all 400 ships) advanced and slipped through the Vortex...
--------------
In the Randof system, the Ramans were dealing with a few raiding Agzarai vessels, when suddenly the Energy Vortex opened, and in a flash 400 Agzarai ships swept into the system. The Raman defenses, though overwhelmed, put up a valiant fight. However, finally, the law of Attrition finally worked, and the Agzarai fleet took control of the system. They had lost over half their fleet in the battle, the Incontrovertible had been damaged, but they had taken the system, along with a Raman defense array, and soon reinforcements arrived. By that time, they had 220 vessels in the system, 10 of them carriers. The captured Defense Array was taken back through the wormhole to be analyzed, and the Agzarai fleet began fortifying.
In the Tenius system...
"Sir, I am detecting a wormhole oppening on the edge of the system!"
"How many Agzarai vessels?"
"Uhhhh, one sir. A frigate."
The Agzarai frigate exited the wormhole, launched something, then went back into the wormhole, which then closed.
"What was that..."
The frigate had launched over a dozen Multi-Kinetic Neutronium Energy Space Mines (big name) which impacted on the Corocian vessel and instantly disintigrated it. As the rest of the Neutronium Mines drifted on and destroyed several more ships, part of a station, and annihilated a city on the ground, in the ensuing chaos, no one paid any attention to the Agzarai, who, at the right moment, slipstreamed into the system!
The Corocians, caught completely off guard by the space mines, scrambled to defend themselves, but were overwhelmed by the Agzarai fleet composed of 250 warships. After the Agzarai fleet destroyed the remaining Corocian vessels in space, and annihilated the station their, they then began to bombard the planet. Within 14 hours, it was all rubble. The Agzarai quickly cloaked and slipstreamed out of the system...
"Sir, the Corocian fleet is moving away."
"Good. Send half of our fleet in Zeldair to DSN-6116 to defend against the Agzarai."
"Right sir!"
"Oh, and send 25 warships from Zeldair to join our fleet preparing to take over Qerid. And after they arrive, tell our fleet to attack Qerid."
"Yes sir!"
He walks off.
Carno, please revoke your post where you destroy the Omega Class Transport. If you had followed its route you would have discovered that it was nowhere near a black hole. However, I do accept the part about using against my home space.
An urgent message is sent through subspace to Rama: <Rama! the Agzarai have discovered a way to get through our defenses. We have only 50 ships left! What should we do?> Rama replies.. <Know what to do. Evacuate to the secret shelters with as many citizens as you can. Send the fleet in the opposite direction to distract the Agzarai. Once at the shelt, do not veture above the surface. Yau can survive for hundreds of years safely. Our Planets will selfdestruct when the most amount of Agzarai are present in the systems.>
5 days later... The Agzarai ruthlessly take over any and every Raman system. Millions of troops are landed to exterminate every Raman. Mysteriously, in about half of the systems, there are not many Ramas to eradicate. A large fleet of Ramans pursues 50 Raman Cruisers to a far corner of Raman space and promply destroys it. The Agzarai by this time had moved 50,000 big ships into Raman inhabited space to oversee the stripping of resources. It was a tuesday when it happened, now referred to by all Ramans as the second Doomsday. In a unanimoul scream of defiance. Every Raman planet exploaded in massive mini nova. All the systems and all 50,000 Raman ships were destroyed.
Gee..."No Total Destruction", even your own planets. The Agzarai would have discovered such large energy points in their scans and deactivated them. However, you could have killed many Agzarai with small explosives all over the planets. Rama, if you would like, the Renegade uprising can be a secret Raman buildup and you can spread from the south tip with no trouble as that area is especially bare at this point in the war. You could reroute the number of warships that i said (300) plus another reserve bonus (+50). Nova, reserve bonuses are awarded when nations have no or very little fighting taking place for an extended period. You have not had such high activity, so you will be rewarded one more reserve bonus (+50). Carno, i only changed the map to account for what i said. I leave territory changes to you now.
Of course, if the Ramans really did want the South Tip, I could give it too them. It really doesn't help me too much, and I've already gotten all the resources I wish from it. The only thing it is really valueble for is the production of space mines and I was goning to move that anyway. If you just ask me, I'll tell you which planets I can give you. Because if you take over the South Tip, then you'll still be a bit weak, and the Agzarai will immediately mark you as an easy target to destroy. Right now their plan is slowly weaken the Corocians, Silver Fleet, Rogue, Ramans, while making it look like they are mostly consontrating on me.
So, what now? The Agzarai now get all Raman systems?
-----------
In the Twyus system...
The Agzarai fleet cautiously moved forward through the abandoned system. They had detected unusual energy signatures here, and had decided to investigate. All 1,000 ships (most of them frigates, gunboats, and interceptors) slowly moved toward the planet. Suddenly, space seemed to light up as thousands of explosions engulfed the Agzarai fleet. After another 15 minutes, nothing was left of them. Carnotaur had set up a bunch of space mines, newly imported from the South Tip, in the Twyus system and had detonated the cloaked bombs at the exactly right moment. Carnotaur then sends a report on what had happened in the system to Rama, Daedalus, and Rooster, hoping that they might be able to use the idea as well.
In the Verril system...
The Corocian defenders their patrolled the system, bored, hoping for some action. All former UE planets had been left out of the fighting, but the Corocians still maintained rather formidable patrols in all systems, no matter how little action they had seen.
Suddenly, the sensor readouts on one of the patrols started going haywire. Soon, all sensor readouts went haywire, but then cleared and showed a massive ion energy flux approaching the system. Then, suddenly, ten massive vessels decloaked and immediately started opening fire. The Corocians there were awed. They were Agzarai Dreadnaughts, the largest type of Agzarai ship. Bigger than seven Crescent Stations, one Agzarai dreadnaught is a match for more than ten Azdgari Warships.
The Corocian ships in the system charged the Agzarai vessels, but were cut down almost immediately as they near the ten huge warships. After a short battle, the Agzarai dreadnaughts destroyed the Corocian vessels in the system, and immediately began bombarding the planet with all weapons. Soon, the colony on Verril Prime has been wiped out, and the Agzarai cloak, just as twenty Corocian cruisers enter the system. The Agzarai are just able to get away...
The Rogue fleet slipstreams into Qerid. The Agzarai are caught off guard. After hours of intense fighting the Rogue fleet FINALLY destroys the Agzarai ships. Tons of Rogue troops pour into the station. The Agzarai on the station are outnumbered and are eventually wiped out. The Rogue quickly send reinforcements and secure the system.
Rooster calls a holomeeting to discuss the war. Carnotaur and Nova come up on the screens. Rooster: "Gentlemen, the long night has come. We are falling just as the Emalghans prophecied. However, their weaponry is crude and in most cases a simple blast of power. I'd like to see Rogue scientists working with our Corocian-Azdgari scientific operations on Aluzair. Our combined power will destroy them. Carnotaur, we need number counts. Just how many ships are we looking at and what is the current ratio ship-to-ship?"

Nova6 replies: "OK, I'll have my scientists go there right away. Oh and Rooster, I wish to form an alliance with you if that's OK?"
Rooster replies...
"We are facing a total of approximately 3.2 million vessels. That includes all Agzarai ships in the Milky Way, and it also includes defense fleets. Approximately 1.5 million of those ships are in defense fleets. That means we have 1.7 million other warships to deal with, and that includes gunships.
"As for comparing ship to ship kill ratio, here are some of the statistics:
Agzarai Fighter/Interceptor vs. Azdara/Crescent Fighter/UE Fighter/Silver Fleet Fighter = 115 to 100 kill ratio favoring the us, but extremely close
Agzarai Gunship vs. Arada (any type) = 10 to 15 kill ratio favoring us
Agzarai Destroyer/HVD vs. Zidara/UE Destroyer = 1 to 1 kill ratio even
Agzarai Cruiser/Heavy Cruiser/Battlecruiser/Light Cruiser vs. Corocian Cruiser/Agzarai Warship/Silver Fleet Warship/Raman Warship = 10 to 11 kill ratio slightlyfavoring the Agzarai, but still close
Agzarai Battleship vs. Corocian Cruiser/Agzarai Warship/Silver Fleet Warship/Raman Warship = 1 to 4 kill ratio favoring the Agzarai
Agzarai Dreadnaught vs. Corocian Cruiser/Agzarai Warship/Silver Fleet Warship/Raman Warship = 1 to 8 kill ratio favoring greatly the Agzarai, we don't have a big enough ship to compete with it
"As you can see, the Agzarai usually win in battles. However, they win so much with capital ships because of their ships mere size. We don't have big enough vessels to compete with them. Our biggest vessel is the Voinian Dreadnaught, a rather unpractical ship, and it doesn't even have the armament to stand up to a Agzarai Light Cruiser. We need bigger warships with more guns. Another advantage they have is weapons. Their weapons are highly dangerous, and much more affective than ours. We should try to develope some kind of counter messure to their weapons. The only field that we win in is against their gunships.

Originally posted by roostersw: **RHowever, their weaponry is crude and in most cases a simple blast of power. **
Whose weaponry is crude? The Agzarai's? No way. Their weapons are much more sophisticated and powerful than ours. They are definitely not crude in weapons. However, as for their social life and personnal pursuits, you know, just them in general, not their technology or ships, then they themselves are rather crude (are vicious and violent).
Here is what REALLY happened to the Raman systems. Background: Every Raman planet has about five nuclear bombs (numbers depending on size) implanted deep within critical falt lines. When a planet is occupied by an enemy race and no signal is sent from the Raman leader to self deactivate, within 7 days the bombs explode, the bombs try to syncronize with bombs in other systems so that they all go at once.
What happened to the Raman planets: When no signal reached the AI controlling the bombs on each planet, they communicated and at the precise instant, when most of the Agzarai ships in Raman space were in orbit around a planet, the bombs exploded. Each of the worlds were divided into sub oceanic super continents. Thes continents began to sink through the magma core. It happened so rapidly that the hot magma was jettisioned out of orbit. Any ships in orbit would eacher be pompelled so much that they fell to the now liquid magma planet, or they would be partially encased in rock making the ships unable to fire thrusters to keep from falling out of orbit. In this way, only 5,000 of 50,000 Agzarai ships in Raman space survived. The planets are still their, they are just slightly smaller and are still cooling as the magma hardens into a new crust. I suppose that eventually they could be mined for resources.
Deep in F-25... Daedalus and a technician walk through a corridor, "As you will be able to see from the specimen we show you, the Agzarai possess very little hand to hand combat fighting skills. They really are quite-"
"What is that!?" exclamed Daedalus as he looked at a small two foot creature behind a glass wall.
"That is what you have come to see. An Agzarai specimen. You can see from its small cranium that it is actually less intelligent than a human being. Their race has simpley has had much more time to develope their technology. The Agzarai were probably one of the first intelligent races in our galactic cluster. We have also discovered that they use voice amplifiers to make their transmission. Watch this demonstration."
A technician with his white jacket off entered the cage. The Agzarai put up its puny fists and said in a sqeaky voice. 'leave me alone, don't make me kill you'. The technician laughed and walked up to it and kicked it. It flew into a wall giving a squeak when it hit. Daedalus laughed as the midgit ran at the technician and was kicked back again.
"As you can see, we could easily take control of a ship of theirs if we could board it. A grenade would make them scatter like a bunch of midgits with a grenade thrown at them."
"Hehe. I will have the engineer begin working on a boarding ship."
Daedalus sends a broadcast to Rama!? and the Corocians about his findings.
------------------ ---------------------- Give them shell! give them solid shot! Damn them, give them anything!
Daedalus to an intelligence officer: "We are still getting reports of Agzarai activity in the old Miranu space, correct."
"Yes sir."
"I have a small metorite cluster headed for that area, I want a scan to count the flashes."
"yes sir, I will have the scan completed in three hours time." ----- Three hours later... "Daedalus! every single meterorite hit something, it is like there is some kind of massive cloaked object there!"
"Or a cloaked fleet, Carno was right. Contact our mining colony in the asteroid belt, I want 100,000 asteroids to pummel through the Sumo system, I will get the Fleet ready to clean up the scraps."
Corocian scientists still on F-25 hear of this discovery and tell Rooster, who quickly boards the Zodiac and lands on F-25. Daedalus: "Rooster, good to see you. I'm sure this is about our recent Agzarai research, isn't it?" Rooster: "Yes, and i don't believe you'll need to develop a whole new type of ship." Rooster goes to the nearest data terminal and inserts a small datachip containing the Corocian records of the Battle of Zachit. Rooster: "If you'll recall, my people used altered taskdrones equipped with the same shield and hull piercing you and i used on the Pultaq at Mavs. They were released from the hatches on the side of the Zodiac and were successful in destroying 7 enemy ships with on board explosives planted by infiltration teams. We could use this same technology to deliver boarding teams to the Agzarai ships. All our information is yours. Both of our shipyards can begin construction and implementation immediately. Do you agree with this?"
(Corocian representatives have made an alliance with the Rogue.)
Carno, i'd appreciate another map update if it's not too much trouble.
