STORY SUMMARY: The Oasan jurisdiction has fallen upon the Voinians, and the UE fell to the rule of the Corocians. This was a time of prosperity, a rise to the Oasans, Corocians, and Azdgari. The Silver Fleet provided protection for the innocent, and the galaxy was at peace...so the allies thought.
INTRO: Rooster, Oasa, Buba, Daedalus, and Carnotaur stood upon the ops deck of the C.W.S. Zodiac , flagship of the corocian empire. These allies had been fighting for years, but now came together to celebrate a mutual victory. The Ancara had been driven away. However, now the allies were weak, and could fall now easier than before.

Then, after the defeat of the Ancara, Carnotaur called a meeting of the different alien rulers. The meeting was to be held at Azdgari, the newly reclaimed Azdgari capital and homeworld. The Alien rulers were to meet there, and discuss the future of their races and of other races, like the Miranu. Carnotaur himself was anxious to get back to Azdgari to meet his father, Intimidator, who was the emporerer of the Azdgari Empire, which he had helped create. Carnotaur was also looking forward to exploring beyond the Crescent more thoroughly.
All the alien rulers agreed, and so, the meeting was held at the designated time on Azdgari. Once there, Carnotaur and Intimidator led everyone into the meeting hall. Then, Intimidator had everyone sit down, but he stood.
"Rulers of the galaxy, if that is the appropriate word, welcome to Azdgari. The last few months have been devastating. We have all suffered heavy losses, but we have accomplished stunning victories. However, this has been overshadowed by our weaknesses. This meeting will determin the course of history. First, we will hear all our tactical situations. First, from us, the Azdgari Empire. Carnotaur?"
Carnotaur stood. "In the battle with the Ancara we suffered heavy losses. Most of our fleet was assigned to that battle. However, our shipyards are up and running, and we hope to have recovered from this in about two more months, maybe more. However, our economy is new and fragile, so we cannot strain it. I ask that we all open up trade routes between us to stimilate our economies and help our governments.
"Also, our borders are thin and not well defended. It will be at least 1 week before we can get our borders more fortified. We need help from our neighboors, the Igadzra and the Zidagar. With there help, we can join together and help protect each other."
"Daedalus?" Intimidator asked. "What is your position?"

I accept your terms for trade. I agree that we are weak but I am curious as ts what lies beyond the cresent.
I also have great news. The North Tip Renegades have begun to reform. The are going to soon start a new republic and pieceful government.
The silver fleet is battered but it has begun rebuilding on F-25. My colonies on Brokac Ja and Dafnin are coming along nicely.

UE Patriot awakens after years of suspended animation. Saddened at the fact that his beloved United Earth republic has fallen, UE Patriot then joins the Corocians. He taskes his ancient UE Dreadnaught, the UES Caracas , to Earth spaceport and retrofits it with the latest weapons and equipment. He thenk takes a few thousand colonists aboard his ship, rechristend the CWS Caracas , and starts a colony on the ruins of an ancient UE outpost in the Yandros system. Within a week, the colony prospers and actually sends some supplies to help fortify the borders. UE Patriot then flies the CWS Caracas to Azgadri.

Deep in Raman territory on Xanu:
Rama, we have recently discovered a whole series of new jumppoints. They seem to have just appeared. We are still stabilizing many of them, but each one we open leads to a new one.
Hmm, this interest me Ralcon, what have the scouts reported?
The scouts have reported ships from another intelligent race. They also appear to be exploring. We have not attempted to contact them.
Well do it. I want to see who and what they are. Bring up the Severe Fleet to guard the jump points. Take any uninhabited planet you come accross. Set up outposts on those planets.

Meanwhile, on Rizgarik, Azdgari scientists were working on discovering new systems. Suddenly, one of them called out. "Sir! Sir! I was just able to initialize our main sensor array! We will now be able to scan beyond the Crescent!"
As the others gathered around, the sensor screen showed hundreds of new systems. Suddenly, one of the scientists exlclaimed, "Look there! Lifeforms!"

Meanwhile, on the Azdgari border in Grooz, an Azdgari patrol intercepted UE Crusader. "What do you want?" they asked him.
Not sure i know where Xanu is, Rama. Remind us if you get a chance, eh? UE Patriot, i'll need to know if this is a Corocian colony, a friendly province, or an unassociated nation. And a name if it turns out to be independent. I'll be finding a new Silverfleet owner soon...
CONTINUATION: Rooster now for the first time sits in his office on Earth, once again the Corocian capitol. He flips through papers, and sees the diplomatic reports from Patriot. Rooster: "Navida, have the Zodiac prepped for launch. I'm going to Yandros." Navida: "Yes sir, Commander. Right away." Hours later, Rooster steps into the capitol bay. The C.W.S. Zodiac sits gleaming before him. The last of his crew file on board, having been on shoreleave. Rooster takes the lift up to the ops deck, and orders the systems be brought online and the ship into space. The red ship rises from the atmosphere, and pulls quickly away from the planet, entering hyperspace.
Soon, the ship pulls out of the corridor at Yandros to see small defense craft and frieghters flying about. Rooster is quite impressed, and calls his crew to look up from their duties and see the quickly growing society. The Zodiac docks with the station and Rooster enters, humbly greeted by Patriot. It's lunchtime by now, and both move into a glass encased room on the promenade for such occasions. Rooster begins to talk about diplomatic issues, waiting for Patriot to explain his situation...
Xanu is somewhere beyond the Cresent were carno has been exploring. There is a whole other section of galaxy there. Owned by the Raman empire and occupied by some Raman allies who have yet to show themselves. ------- A Raman drone enters the Menar system and discovers a hewman scout ship. :Unidentified ship contacted: :Translators initiated: :Message to UFO 6548: -You are in Raman space. Prepare to die. :Quantum beam online: :Target locked:
A green barely visible beam streaks out from a Raman drone instantly vaporizing the scoutship.

Then i give you two options Rama: 1. State your diplomatic situation with the Ancara in that area. 2. I'll instate you as the Ancara, under the name Raman Empire.
If you didn't know, in the past story the Ancara were known to own more than half of that rather small area. You can either say that you are friends or enemies with this obviously superior race, or you can BE the Ancara and be the only superior. That really isn't a large area by our first scans, and if i were you i'd want to be the only one in it.
FACT: Voinians didn't fare well in the transit to slipstream. Oasan craft would not be able to enter Raman space without suffering gradual and irreversible harm.
I'm gonna wait for ya'll to write some more before i add to the story.
was thinking that I would be a whole new race with no relation to the Ancara. Using Carotaurs new technology (not the slip-corridor drive) humans have discovered a way to stop the coucil from blocking space travel beyond the crescent. The sink has also now been opened to the Ramans, who live beyond the crescent. We don't know anything about the Ancara. All we know is that humans exist and must be destroyed.
First of all, Rama, there is no council. The Azdgari destroyed them and took over Gadzair. Look at the story map. Also, the Menar system is guarded heavily by Azdgari warships. And not only that, but now the Ramans have made an enemy of the entire known galaxy. And you have really gotten on Carnotaur's nerves.

Suddenly, as Carnotaur and Daedalus were looking over some tactical plans, an Azdgari lieutenant ran up to them. "Sir! Sir! Our scoutship in the Menar system was destroyed!"
"What!? Why didn't our patrols protect it!" Carnotaur roared.
"The alien vessel came in at a certain time when there was no patrols in that system! What should I do?"
"Put the Azdgari Navy on alert. Increase patrols throughout the new sector. I know about these guys. Our scientists detected them. Begin exploring new space. Colonize any planet you come across and make sure there is at least three Azdgari warships in each system at one time. Move!"
Hope I'm not upsetting the boat here, but I would like to add an old race from the origional EVO.
The Oasan empire noticed something odd... to the galactic south of their empire, numerous power signatures where showing up on scanners...
"Excue." Said a captain of a Oasan ship that was nearby..
"yes sir?"
"Are there any races there? Any advanced enough to develop light speed engines??"
"Well sir, I had a look at the historic database, and the race known as the Voinians once had enslaved a race called the Hinwar there, but the Hinwar revolted and stole their ships... They could have kept one without us knowing..."
And sure enough, Alien was powering up the old Voinian fleet that they had kept hidden for such a long time..
"No doubt they will have noticed us by now, let us send a diplomatic envoy at once.."

Yes. By historic record in this timeline, the Hinwar revolt never occurred. They were protected by the UE during the peacetime and became a Corocian province. However, i won't fight to hold onto the Hinwar if you want to commandeer them. Voinian ships are in short use now, at least as they were known to be. Oasan shipwrights drastically changed the design for effective battle with crescent nations.
The Oasans are most likely the weakest nation at this point, since their fleet's pride, the Malcontent was destroyed. Strongest to weakest of the nations military power in the area: Azdgari, Corocian, Oasan, Silverfleet, and Patriots.
Absent knowledge of the Ancara by the Ramans is highly unlikely, however it is possible you knew them at one time and developed a way to block their transit into your space. We would need to know, from Carno and Rama, if this newly found space is beyond the slipbarrier or if it can be reached by conventional space travel.
CONTINUATION: After Rooster's lunch with Patriot, he gave him his blessing and invited him to come to the capitol building or the Zodiac anytime. The Zodiac then entered hyperspace toward Aluzair, and sent a message ahead on encrypted frequency for Carnotaur to meet Rooster there. After 6 hours, both arrived at the mutually located system. Carnotaur had reserved a room used for trade meetings and posted a heavy security attache. Rooster inqueried about political situations, and then got to his reason for the meeting. Rooster: "We either have a great advantage or disadvantage against the Ramans. If they are in fact unaware of slipstream technology, that's our advantage, for Oasan officers brought back much more crystal than they suspected. Corocian salvage officers picked up the survivors and these crystals. If they are, and their area is beyond the slipbarrier, then random incursions may be unavailable where masses of their people could enter our border systems at any time. Their only enterance points are the Brokac systems, so keeping them out at least for a short time should be simple. You have corocian support, Captian. My people, if you'll allow, will be on those borders in a matter of hours. What do you say?" Carnotaur either pretends to be in deep thought or he actually has to think about his decision, but soon he begins to answer....
...Carnotaur lifts his head and looks at Rooster. "Your warships will be in all Brokac systems within 13 hours. You will also set up a base in the Brokac system. In the meantime, we will send 9 Azdgari warships to the Menar system and set up a base there as well.
"I also have some news about this new area of space. All the systems that we have reached have stable jump links which can be reached with conventional hyperspace drive. However, the jump links that exist now are the ONLY stable jump links. The Rama cannot enter without slipcorridor drive.
"Also, we have been able to detect a few other systems to the south of the new sector. These newer systems can be reached with conventional drive. We are sending our ships to that sector to explore it immeditately.
"I also have reports from our offensive against the ST and remaining Human Renegades. We have finally captured their last bases. We and the Igadzra now control the South Tip.
"Now, do you have any furthur business?"
Rooster: "No, i think it's best i begin coordinating the efforts immediately. Coincidentally, your people in Brokac will have full access to the slipcrystals." With that Rooster left to the Zodiac and 2 other high command ships bound for Brokac.
