May I sugest that you See if you can get the plug-in on to a macaddict disk? I know alot of pepole get macaddict and almost every one of those people Have played EVO This would save alot of people alot of time.I don't know if it cost anything to do this but i think it would be a good idea.

It's coming along. Three sections of the galaxy are complete as far as Systs/Spobs/Dudes. Another section is roughly 85-90% complete. The other three are in varying stages of doneness. Missions have been written and programmed for two sections; it's on to play-testing for them. Don't expect the plug to be released next week, but it's definitely coming along.

Sadly, that is a concern. Many of the ship sprites are large, too, so that's another problem. We have an extensive catalog of custom landing picts that will further eat up memory. The landing picts will probably be available as a separate add-on, however. That way, those whose computers can handle it and want the added level of eye candy will be able to toss it into their plug-ins folder and add to the game environment. Those who can't or don't want to use the custom picts will still be able to; it won't be required to enjoy the Mille Terrae experience.
And it is being developed as One thousand Words, so that should give you a suitable guestimate as to the number of Systs.

Its been in Dev. since June. So about 6 months. ETA? Sometime in 2001. If we got THIS much done in 6 months, we'll get it done next year.

At this point, we don't know. All the pieces aren't together just yet. I've got EVO up to 34 megs of RAM and what I have runs quite smoothly at normal game speed. Other developers have had minor memory-related problems, however. We won't know memory requirements until we finalize all the ships, etc., but we'll keep everybody posted.
