I would like to know if there is some program that would rotate the pictures for me so that making an rleD wont take a billion years.
What are you using for a computer? I would think that computer speed and memory would factor into your issue. Then again how about not making the animation too complicated.
-Render your sprites as an animation (probably 36 frames), then use m2s to convert to a pict. -Do the same for masks. -Get the sprite/mask picts into a ResEdit file, along with an appropriate shan. -Run EnRLEDeRLE on the ResEdit file.
You're done.
Of course, that's assuming you're on a Mac. If you're on Windows, I think EVNew does some of the grunt work----but I don't know the specifics on that.
All you need is the sprite grid in pict, bmp, jpg, png, tga, or tiff format. EVNEV will import as a sprite base, but you'll also need a mask, or it will take away the dark areas of the ship as part of the mask and make it partially transparent.
