I don't know if anyone has mentioned this before, but I am using the full version, unregistered version of PoG, and when I start the game, nothing really happens. In full screen mode, it shows up as a black screen with a little bit of the starting screen in the upper left hand corner, but nothing else. I can hear the music, but not see anything. When starting it in windowed mode, it shows a white screen and nothing happens, the game freezes and i have to force quit it. I am using a IBook G3 with OS X Panther(10.3.2) with 640 MB RAM and an 800 MHz Processer. Is it me, my computer, or is the file just corrupted? Somebody please help! :frown:

It's the OS. PoG is still incompatible with Panther, but an update is on its way. For the moment, what you could do is run PoG in Classic.

Thank You. I was unaware of the fact that it was not compatiable. I will try it in classic mode and see if it makes a difference.
I'm having the same problem, but how would I load it under Classic? Any special buttons I have to press?

Select PoG, open the info window (File > Get Info, or Command + i), check the "run in Classic environment" box. Here you go, PoG will be opened like a Mac OS 9 only application.
I Can't open it in Classic!
Hi Konjeurer. Welcome to the boards. Please describe what you are doing and what OS you have. We need a little more information to be able to help you. ~RD

Except that now it says I can't load more than one plug until I register, which I have been since about the time I downloaded it! It shows that it is reg. in the reg. app, but also won't let me explore any further. Since it looks like about 2 months since the 1st post in this thread, I wonder how much longer for the fix. Mike

Thanks to David Dunham :D. He told me to also set the reg. app. to run in Classic mode.I shoulda thunk of that :frown:

There was already a bug in PoG with 10.2 and it was never fixed, and I bet no one is working on this 10.3 fix. Very nice company, grrrrr.

A bug??? There are, unfortunately, many bugs. Ambrosia has hired an intern to work on Coldstone and then Pillars of Garendall. The extimate of time to achieve this is about six months. You will just have to be patient like the rest of us.
So where exactly will I find the reg. ap? I haven't a clue.

It should be sitting in your PoG folder along with everything else related to the game. It has a unique green and black square icon and is named "Register Garendall." I don't use OS X, but I can't believe that they eliminated a search feature in the new system.
