Reminds me of:

Depends on what kind of creativity crusade I'm on. Metal is surprisingly good for most uses. Bands like Zao, Mastodon, Amon Amarth etc are quite good.
Queens Of The Stone Age, Pearl Jam etc are quite good as well.
Then we have things like Aphex Twin, Infected Mushroom, Massive Attack (Butterfly Caught is a good one).
Ambient and Post-Rock work quite well too. I'd specifically like to suggest giving If These Trees Could Talk a listen Wikipedia Article--Myspace Page
That being said, most any music can help give a creative boost for me personally.
Tend to listen to A Perfect Circle in the background while playing EVN, as a side note.
Personally, I'd feel like I was 'cheating' or relying too much on another persons work if I were to use these pieces for any of my own purposes (Not that I imply that of anyone else, just how I feel about making ships when it comes to myself), and the only thing I knocked up is a tiny interceptor thing, probably computer-driven, which would be far too small, and rather lacking in complexity, compared to the scale of Delphi's ships. Oh well, I'll chuck it up here anyway.
EDIT: Just remembered about the other topic, will post the image and dl in there, don't want to detract from this topic.

I'm liking the reference in the description (and the appearance, actually). What scale is this in comparison to other ships?
It does look like it would have slightly less grunt than the other ships. I would expect it from the description to look slightly more intimidating. Still looks good.

That'd probably be good enough for use untextured... looks amazing.
Are you still using the same cover-all textures you were using back in the previous screenshots? Just wondering. Will look great regardless of how you texture it (Well, maybe avoid puke green w/ magenta).
I'm totally seeing a side mission to install or transport an alternative/replacement fuel source to the beacon. We can't let those 300 billion disappear!
Pretty cool though, I'm liking the backstory, and it gives an idea of what kind of firepower these ships are messing with.
