I guess maybe it's over now. The PoG page is gone. Happy holidays (or not...). Any comments Ducky?

I thought it'd be nice to revitalize this board a bit with a question. Should one wish to replay PoG and all of the current completed plug-ins (whether or not one has played them or not) is there a good order in which to activate them? Or would one simply activate every plug-in they have and play that way? I can see that getting a bit confusing.

It sounds like you're married to this game.
What on earth would make you infer that from what I've written? And what's the point of wasting your energy making off remarks about other users when you seem to like the game enough to participate on this web board as well? I guess you must have hung around long enough to be "married" to the game as well.
Why not be a bit more creative about the way you use your words?
I realize I am entering this thread very late, however, I had an idea geared towards the original intent of this topic. Why not try to make a spell that would allow the user to set a coordinate to which they could return.
For example: A player enters a deep dungeon that happens to be very difficult. They cast this particular spell at the entrance (because they have already failed in the dungeon a number of times and fear saving in the dungeon risking being forever trapped). This allows them to complete the dungeon mission and at the press of a button, return to that original set coordinate at the entrance rather than backtracking and fighting every foul beast they encounter on the way out.
I suppose there are plenty of ways around this problem as well such as levelling up etc... But there are also other bountiful creative uses to which this spell could be applied.
Listen, I don't really care about the legal 'get your money back' issue. I enjoy the game and want to see it last with a strong following of developement and support. Hey, it's a $25 game, not a $25,000 car. I would be more worried about that. I can wait.
I am new to this message board stuff so take it easy on me.
I have played through PoG and not had enough time to make it through all of the great plugins like WoC, DiD, Sapphire or Trinity. Work gets in the way of fun. However, this has not stopped me from brainstorming for a new PoG story.
This is a story of conspiracy against the Queen by Vortek (or if he cannot be edited or changed due to being an original part of PoG, some other close, p*ssed off relative of the Queen's can be created). I'll use Vortek for now. He's tired of doing the Fantrima thing and wants peace, quiet, distance from the Queen's rule and a lot of cash. He takes what he's got and hires a band of corsair (not quite as heinous as pirates) to overtake and rob one of the Queen's vessels. The plan goes wrong when the ship is so heavily guarded that the corsair group ends up stealing everything, killing everyone, and sinking the ship thus becoming "pirates". Not part of the plan.
More importantly, the ship is guarded for a reason. The queen was protecting an ancient artifact of great power and moving it to a safe place. Thus all of the security. Poor Vortek is now in over his head. But he still wants his money. Unfortunately for him, this artifact has begun to affect the corsair crew for the worse. They've forgotten all about him and the captain takes everything for himself and goes to his island in wait for world domination...Thus begins the ensuing adventure, Corsair, where you must, again, save Garendall and the world.
The plugin would need a number of new areas, NPC's and items (as is typical for a plugin). I have no Coldstone experience so this will be slow in developement. For now it is all on paper. Sound interesting?
