Ever heard of StarBound II? It's more of a turn-based strategic space sim, but you can go in and get your hands dirty in real combat. It's pretty cool, and i'd love to see some inspiration from SBII taken into EV3. It runs a bit slow on older machines, so I wouldn't try it on anything less than an upper-end 604e.
