For some reason, after i looked at all the topics on the GoP webboard, i felt like a newbie. I dont even know what giants look like! So far, i got the harp, got the lumberjacks, killed the bugs near the bridge, and rescued the kid from the goblins. Is there any way to go to another continent because when i didnt register, the screen talked about registering and showed a ship on the ocean. Can anyone tell me as many quests and where to get them as possible because my a** keeps getting kicked by these dragon things and spiders. Im level 11 and im a page. Also, can i go to Gidolan keep?

Im not really sure how to edit something, so im adding this info this way. I was also wondering what elixers are, why the best stuff i can buy says it gives little or good protection, and why i saw someone talking about getting 5 million gold becuase i think just 500 is a fortune and thats the most i ever got.

First off, theres a bar at the top of every post thet lets you reply to - or edit that post if it was yours. 1. There to the south near Gidolan keep, there big green and have red armor. 2. There is a island you go to later in the game, that ship pic was from one of the many movies that will be on the CD. 3. (url="http://"http://www.AmbrosiaSW.com/webboard/Forum61/HTML/000315.html")http://www.AmbrosiaS...TML/000315.html(/url) 4. No 5. They or either found rarely in rock piles, or sold by a witch later in the game, they can raise your stats like luck or dex. etc. 6. early in the game, you can only buy equipment so high on the quality list, as you go you willl find better dealers and special gear. 7. I got to the point were I already beat the game, but I wanted to just become a god so I spent all day killing big mosters, then later, just spend all day killing giants. and as you rake in money, you buy elixers, right now my strength is 1077 and I can kill a giant with my bare hands because it gives me a huge damage bonus.

Thanks for the tips. Im still wondering why those spiders and dragon guys keep killing me so easily.

The prolem is your weapon and armor. Get better weapons and better armor to kill the Wyrms (dragons) more easily. Also, there are two kinds of spiders; red spiders (Rockyspiders) and blue spiders (molespiders). The red spiders are easier to kill, they're 2N 1E from Fantrima, and once you can kill Wyrms I would try for a rockyspider.

actually, youll want to fight the rockyspiders before you fight the wyrms. They're a lot easier. As for weapons, i did really good for a long time using the drivatan claymore (400 gp i think at fantrima) and drivatan helm, iron boots, iron gauntlets, iron belt, and plate mail, all available at fantrima. good luck, have fun, kick spider and wyrm @$$.

I think my weapons and armor are pretty good. I have the best belt, boots, hat and shield in terms of defense that are available at Fantrima. So far ive been to Fantrima, Gwynden Camp, and the Great Learning Tree. I have armor with 10 def. I also have a sword with like 5-15 dam. or something. I have pathfinding and im a page. I have 70 or 76 health. Do you have to raise your sheild for it to block attacks and what exactly does defense do? (Note- I can kill wyrms but lose about half my health and goblins do like 1 or 2 damage about 10% of the time.
Should I keep killing monsters and improving my weapons and body armor?
Fantrima has the cheapest and weakest gear in the game. You need to move on to Berglum, that place has good gear. Also, sheilds just provide extra armor, you can block no matter what you equip. And you should get the Purge the Ghost Swamps mission from the Knight house, that way you can go and become a Squire, and that will get you some more Vitality, the more Vitality you have, the more health you will get per level-up.
I already have the purge the ghost swamp mission. Do I find the general in a cave there? I heard from someone in Berglum that he was turned into a death knight. If this rumor is true, do I have to fight him? What do i get for being a squire? I found the ghost swamps but i cant find the cave. Are the ghost swamps in 1 or 2 areas? last, I can never seem to find enough gold to buy anything from the Berglum Blacksmith. Whats an easy way to fing gold?

The general is a death knight, you do fight him, for squire you get +2 Vitality and +2 Dex. the swamp is east of the learning tree, the cave the general is in is the 2ed swamp screen, in the middle with two guards. You kill big monsters for more gold, and be sure to collect everything they drop so you can sell there droped weapons and gear.
Is the general difficult to beat? Exactly where is the area containing the cave in in relation to the learning tree itself? Are the two gaurds the guys who help clear the entrance or enemies? Is the general alone in the cave or are there monsters?
I found the cave with the general. Im still wondering how hard the general is. Is he harder than wyrms? If yes, how much harder?
He's pretty tough, and will probably take a lot of health---bring potions. However, later in the game you will be able to fight the same type of enemy far more easily. IMO the best "bought" weapon is the Claymore of Bear.
