I've heard pasting a PICT as the level layout is much faster than using mascot to do it. Could someone please explain what the easiest way to do this is? I don't have any fancy programs like Photoshop. It would be great If you tell me how to do it in AppleWorks.

First, you need to draw your level. Each tile is represented by a single pixel. Also, it must be a B&W; image. (In AppleWorks, choose the menu item "Format:Resolution & Depth...") Then copy it to the clipboard, and Choose "Past PICT as Regular/Smoothed FG tiles" from the edit menu in MASCOT.
