Tell me why isn't there a multiplayer or network EV? It would be easy. There used to be this plug in the original EV that was battle missions. You would land on a planet, accept a mission to battle a different opponent, and if you won, you would get a cretain amount of money. The harder the opponent, the bigger the sum you got. For the life of me I can't remember what it was called. Who remembers it?
Anyway, I think that is how it should be. Someone gets on the network, loads their pilot file(no cheater plugs, please), posts a challange, and then someone else accepts it. They battle, and the winner gets a certain number of points. The standings are then posted on a webboard.

That plug was called Arena Plug or something like that. I played it a long time ago. I credit that plug with teaching me the MP maneuver. It was the only way to kill anything in the Hawk you started out with.
