I just wanted to know out of curiosity. How do you target your escorts again? I want to release some but I don't know how.
Also, I've captured Freeport and Gorky and all of the sudden this Bounty Hunter starts following me! I can handle it but it's just REALLY annoying. Is there any way I can stop it without releasing my planets?

To target your escorts (or fighters): option+tab I think.
If you kill the bountyhunters enough times, they won't follow you anymore... I think.

Thanks.
The bounty hunters are (duh) hired by the planet to kill you. I don't know if you can ever kill enough of them (I doubt it, but can't be sure), so that they stop coming after you. I do know that the more stellars you conquer, the greater your chance of meeting a bounty hunter is. In the origional EV, I conquered about 2/3 the galaxy using a cheater pilot, and one of the reasons I stopped playing that pilot is that it got really annoying how often I had to stop and deal with the damned bounty hunters.
