Ok, I go to the very north and go through a cave. Then when I come out it puts me across the screen on the other side of a rock ridge. There's a bunch of glowing guys that tend to kill me, I head north a little and go in another cave, A number of floors down the cave I run into a huge door, when I walk at it a message pops up and says that it is locked tight and a key is needed. I got the funny brass key in the third level of the Learning Tree. Is their some certain way you need to use it or am I missing something? I'm hoping it's not some evil glitch I'm having.

This seems to be the biggest problem I see everyone having, I take it you want to go to High Garendall? GH is northeast out of the crypt, the cave you just went into is for the last part of the game, and the brass key opened that crypt you just went through. It will take more missions to get the key for the gate.

SPOILER!!!!!
you can get the key to the big gate youre trying to get through from the elf guy after you do some crap (i cant remember the exact stuff; i think you need to complete the milla'kara shield, but ask arcangel counterstrike in case im wrong)
