Program crashes after registration!?!

hey all- maybe i am an idiot! I played the demo till i couldn't play no-more- dished out the $ and registered the program. It crashes when it reaches the 'menu' screen (new game, load etc...)

So ... I downloaded the game (full) and still, at the 'menu' screen the program crashes!

UGGG!!!! i just want to play!!!!!!

Any suggestions?

What machine are you using? What ver. OS? Did you try increasing PoG's memory?

Yah man i downloaded the demo right...got to play it and was haven fun then i tried to save it like i was doin for the past error then it locks up on a message bar and i had to force quit.I then tried to restart the game but now from on it just makes the image open then close.somebody help my demo wont work at all.i even re downloaded it and it still wont work.

Sorry all- I am running (@work) a G4, system 9.2.1, and over a gig of ram. Tried increasing the ram for PoG but it didn't work. It crashes at the same point, JUST AS THE MAIN MENU SCREEN launches.... !?!? Like I said, it worked fine until I registered it. Now, even after I uninstall it, and re-install it crashes.

Ugg! It was SO FUN!

You might re check your reg code and type it and the name you reg'd exactly. Other than that I dont know. it worked fine for me. but.. try emailing David at help@ambrosiaSW.com he should be more helpful.

sorry

Hmm.. I seem to remember a thread a while back where someone was having a similar
problem, and the solution was to kill the preference file(something goofed up in it,
so it thinks you are past the trial period, even though you are registered). I spent
15 minutes looking through the archives, and couldn't find it though. Sorry.

Anyhow, if I am remembering right, there should be a file on your computer called
lladnerag (Garendall spelled backwards) in your preferences folder. Delete it, and
restart your application. You will probably need to re-enter your registration info
at this point, but once that is done, it should work fine if this is indeed your
problem.

And if this isn't, well, I'd suggest e-mailing ambrosia as Straytoaster advised,
and seeing if they have a fix for you.

And, if you can't find a file called Garendall spelled backward, look for one called emitgop (pogtime backwards) that was the name of the file in the afforementioned thread

Oh ArcAngel Counterstrike, who only recently said "ni!"
Did I say it? The one word that you cannot hear? What is it anyway?
