Sounds cool.
What about the custom explosions, e.g. the ability to assign each weapon an explosion spin ID rather than just choosing between small, big and friggin huge? I never quite liked the fact that all weapons, regardless of nature, end up in yellow fireballs... imagine the cool effects we could assign to plasma cannons or nuclear missiles or EMPs or graviton blades or... Would there still be time to implement it? Would it be too complicated? (Unlikely...) Is there simply no interest? :frown:

I think assigning spins to different item's explosions is a great idea. Not just for weapons, but for ship explosions as well. I've been experimenting with a Star Wars-style 'big stupid ring'-type explosion, which is great for shockwave-type explosions, but I really don't have any place to put it. Being able to assign it to individual weapons as a spin would be great. We'd also be able to give flak guns small, shrapnel-y explosions.
It's probably too late to consider, though
