I've completed all the main objectives, and all the large missions (i.e., the Kirrim Prime resort). Are the any good story or mission plugs? Where might I find them?

I'd be interested to know how you finish the Kirrim Prime mission. I could really use some help. I haven't found the freighter or anything.
Darn it man, track down F-25, Frozen Heart, and possibly the Fourth Reich.
There are a LOT of upcoming plugs out there that are expanders to EVO, but none are out yet. :frown:

You can find F-25 at (url="http://"http://redrival.com/micahl/evo/")http://redrival.com/micahl/evo/(/url). You need a ship that will do jumps in one day to get into it. Also make sure that you have a recent version of the stuffit expander.

when i did it, it was in a system anmed "storrum" or something. anyway, it's the one about 2 or 3 jumps below mirava. the freighter is a derelict miranu one. there will be some miranu crescent fighters attacking you as soon as you scan the ship, so get close to it fast and retrieve the equipment. then return to kirrim.

I assume it's because everyones waiting for 1.0.2 to come out so they can take addvantage of the extra features, if so, you should expect a lot of plugins after 1.0.2 has been out for a few weeks. if you aren't waiting, you should, because the extra fields will probably make already made plugins not work with 1.0.2, although i'm not sure (it seems logical anyway, doesn't it?)
You should be able to find all of the plugins your heart desires for EV/EVO at:

I don't know this for a fact...but plugs that worked with a prior version of EV usually work with the current version. Matt is -really- good about only adding extra fields to the very ends of resources, so it doesn't munge up the entire structure. Each successive version of EV/EVO has added some field or another, and plugs just keep on plugging along
Indeed, I did hold up the production on The Burning Season because I had heard the rumors about 1.0.2. I'm REALLY glad I did now, since all the changes that are being made are going to change the way that I designed a lot of the ship's original stats, and our mission tree is going to look a lot more like I originally envisioned it.

You can continue to use pilots in other plugs, though I recommend making a copy & using the copy. For CR plugs like FH & FF you create a new pilot, 'cuz the missions bits are entirely different, as are most ships & outfits.
Some of my faves: FH, FF, Secession, Babylon 5, Fourth Reich, F-25. Just started EVO:Magma -- adds a whole new look to the original EVO storyline!

EVO1.0.2 will be backwards compatible with plugs made for 1.0.1 and 1.0.0, they will simply not take advantage of the new features added. However, I imagine that any release of 'EV3' will not be backwards compatible with any version of EVO (much like EVO is not backwards compatible with EV) as it will involve a major rewrite of the engine (as opposed to a series of feature additions, which is really just a minor change to the engine as a whole).
gee, you guys know a lot about evo. I just got it today and i already have problems. upon reading evo notes, my problem is sopposedly fixed but this is not the case. when i jump it takes a long time then the ship stops and is un move able.
