Well, hopefully we'll be able to end some speculation either way in a week or so, gods willing...
all the best,

The avalanche has already begun. It is too late for the pebbles to vote.

Nice, now the people who pay you and make your work commericially successful are pebbles.
-sigh-. Whatever happens, in whatever form or media, you can all rest assured Nova will have a kick-ass intro text. Think about that one for a while. (grin)
Speaking of which, frandall, if you be reading this, check your mail for something from me on this very subject...

Hmmmm, appetite well and truly whetted on a number of scores there then, keep it all up gentlemen Incidentally,, Pipeline, any chance of that second Federation (or whatever) spiel in the Chronicles section?
Oh yeah, and Ferazel's Wand is damn fine entertainment, at least, me and my six year old daughter think so, anyway.

My two pfennigs (lira? rubles? cents are so over-used): Shockwaves: very cool. I already asked for that in Epsilon, but anywhere they would be cool.
Disabling weapons: very cool.
(quote) The avalanche has already begun. It is too late for the pebbles to vote. (/quote) I'm going to interpret that as something is already in the works, hence the avalanche...however, why would it be "too late" for voting on a new product? That's a good thing, and the too late line makes me worry that there will be no more EVs and that's final...

EV:Nova: very cool. (quote) Well, hopefully we'll be able to end some speculation either way in a week or so, gods willing... (/quote) That is a very goooooood omen.
Why I and probably others don't particularly like Ferazel's Wand: it's not expandable, as far as I can tell. Even if there's a level editor, ho-hum. We Mac people have been spoiled by EV and EVO: completely changeable, storyline-wise. Same with the Marathon saga, Ares, StarCraft (so some extent on a Mac, fully if you incorporate PCs), and so on. That's why most games are played through a few times then sit on your hard drive, waiting for you to play years later after you've forgotten it. Things like Maelstrom are even moreso that way, you play until you get bored of it and that's that.
Hey Bomb,
Jason (Frandall) is currently on Army camp. He'll be checking mail on Sunday (Saturday for you).
Note to all? I think that regardless of speculation, you'll all enjoy the Nova scenario.
The Second Federation Preamble has been submitted, by the way. macmaxbh had a story that was in the... (ahem) pipeline first.

I don't want to go around bursting bubbles (unless I'm playing Bubble Trouble, of course), but here's my theory: Ambrosia won't say anything to avoid dissapointing us or breaking a promise. I.E., they really want to make EV:3, and probably have code written, but they're afraid it won't come out, for whatever reason (must be some reason ), and don't want to commit themselves to anything.
Either that, or their sitting there, in their offices, reading this thread. And laughing their a--'s off.
At least, if i were them, i would be doing that =p
