I have been using the monty python technique and I still can't kill the Dreadnought with 5 phase cannons and 19 hunter,rocket missles a crescent warship escort and a Vonian frigate escort! Please help!
PS. The dreadnought fires back at me when I use the m/python technique :mad: :mad:

ok, get rid of phase and get those nice things called neutron turrets. next, get rid of hunters and get those other nice things called needle missiles, if you can, get sheild upgrades in crecent along with the engine upgrades...also buy bronev plating...if you're really having trouble, open up the mission in ev edit and make more UE ships come into the system
Phase cannons? Against the dreadnought? If you kill it that way, you're a really good pilot. Go to the nearset outpost and wait for a mission in the same system as the dreadnought. try to get some space-bombs to (renegade spce, quite heavy and expensive, but they're worth it, about 20 can disable the dreadnought. Also try to get some emalgha Cannons.

Firstly, ditch the phaze turrets. Against voinian ships, (or any ship with alot of armour) they are worthless. Get Neutron turrets if possible, or emalgha turrets. Dump the hunter missiles and launcher. Get lots of sheild upgrades, and the engine enhancements instead. They are more dependable. Oh, and get the armour upgrade. It will be worth more than 4 sheild upgrades when you are fighting in the Crescent.
Getting the Azdigari upgrade will make things MUCH nicer (they boost rotational speed quite a bit, without taking up space)
