Is there any chance for re-instating the old boards? I really don't like these ones.
It doesn't make sence. These boards are for people who are playing EV/O and have a question or a problem to come and ask them. They get here, have to fill out a regesteration form, get sent a password, go back, copy the password because it makes no sence (At least let us make our own), come back to the board, paste the password in, and then post their message. The old boards, you could just write down any old name, and post. That was all you had to do.
I have a list of things I don't like about these, but they are for another day. are there any other boards or are there going to be any other boards like the old ones? These take the fun out of it. I liked the spam and flames and stupid posts now and again. to make it fun.
Just let me know if there are any other boards. Thanks,

I always thought it would be cool if andrew would just make the Banter and Brawl board just like the old one, HTML and everything.
Unfortunatly he claims the old board script had "bugs" in it... funny how we never had saw any...

I just have one question for people like you, Zaphod (sorry to play the devil's advocate). Can't you appreciate the fact that Ambrosia has finally taken an interest in a community that it abandoned long ago? That Andrew Welch took the time to totally revamp the EV website? That Escape Velocity is now a full member of the Ambrosia community like all other ASW games, not isolated from the masses?

Well, the problem is that people would rather talk on the offical boards because they are more popular, not because they are BETTER, but because the other boards are harder to find if you are new.
I just don't see why andrew can't have a freakin' threaded format for the banter and brawl. Is he afraid people WILL LIKE IT and want to have threads in other boards?
