Why do the Zidagars suck so bad? I can take down their big ship w/ like a helian (with SAD pods, RCS, Thrust, etc.) Their beams do like 1 damage and they die sooooo quick.... Reply if you can tell me one way a Ziggy ship can beat anything better than a shuttlecraft.

well, a good pilot can do anything. Ankh Starrunner beat a voinian Dreadnought in a krait, and in a shutle craft. There's a bug in 1.0.1 which makes the beam a little wacky, with a fixer plug in, it's quite deadly. Also, try the Zidara for yourself. It's an interesting blend of power and speed. Also, it's much cheaper than a crescent warship, and a Zidara could beat one easily, right out of the box.

Thats fabulous and all, but I'm talking an All AI fight (no mods, no people controlling the ships). I myself can kill a zidara in a lazira and i suck.

Well, I'm not sure, but I think a Zidara AI vs. AI could beat a Crescent warship. It might not happen very often, but I don't think it's immposible. Also, 2 Zidaras can defeat a Azdgari warship even thought they cost less.
There's a bug in EV:O 1.0.1 that causes their beams to shoot everywhere but forward, other wise, they'd be much better.

heh, i gotta azdara (don't ask how - simply put, HELL!!). Anyway, i think i sold that beam thing & got lots of SAE modules, turrets, armor, shield caps & a booster, and took out two crescent warships one after another. Yeah, i'm sided with the Zidager & I have an Azdgari ship. So they both attack me!!
but, still, like nathaniel said, it all depends on the pilot.
