#1.) On the third level, at the place where there are the two up/down movers that are purple and green, on the second one, when you're down, you can see this little cavern with a necklace thing and I think some Xicrons in it. I've tried shooting the wall, spin jumping above it, and swimming under it. (Swimming under it beat the level! :)) I can't get into it. Do I have to use Smite Rings or what?

Easier question first: Smite Rings will act the same as a direct fireseed hit on any enemy onscreen. They won't do anything for walls or barriers.
Now... third level... haven't played the original levels in such a long time I'm going to have to go run through it. Are you playing the full game or the demo?

Smite rings work like MonsterLady said, but know that they won't necessarily work that way with enemies such as bosses.

OK, It's just the third level, not a secret one. Does anyone have any info on getting to that necklace thing? It's just that I went in the second up/down transporter thing and when it was down, jumped off and swam right trying to get under the wall with spikes. It just suddenly said that I won. And yes, I'm playing the demo. (I wish it was registered.)

Disco: I think what you're looking for is a transporter that takes you into that spot later in the level. Sorry not to be much help - it's been years since I've played the demo version - there are some subtle differences between the demo and the full game which make it confusing for me.
You might as well register the game - well worth the money, especially with all the third party levels that are available. (And OBW hopefully on the way soon...)
