swim in the acid?

I am on edification and obsfuscation (hope I spelled that right) level, He made it through the first door, killed the rock throwing goblins, got the fire seeds and I am told that Ferezal needs to "swim in the acid" under this ledge, and come out on the other side. Well, whenever he steps off into the acid he dies almost immediately. What am I doing wrong?

Whoever told you you need to drop into a pit of acid was drunk at the time. The only thing you need to remember at this point in the level is to run like hell. If you have da skillz you can run and move upwards, because there are some goodies at the top of this room. If you're just working to stay alive -- and I don't blame you, I only tried looking up there the third time I played -- then just run forward until you reach the other side.

When you say "run like hell" do you mean because of the crumbling walkway to the right? I've gotten across that but how do I get to the underwater chamber on the left?

Assuming you have a decent amount of health at the time, (Seven 'units' or so should do fine.) you should be able to go under and swim over there. If you go off the bottom of the screen, it's instant death, so be careful.

I also thought at where you start there is a teleportor(drop into the acid at the start and swim to the left,it shouldn't take more than two blocks of health each way)that takes you to a catupult(I know i didn't spell that right) and a treasure chest with some coins.maybe this what you're talking about,maybe not, I just thought you would want to know.

this doesn't help if you might want to come back to the stage again because the floor doesn't come back.Remember to jump while running so if you need to go back there you can come back on the parts you jumped over

You can't get there until later in the level, there's a transporter you can take to get in it.
