Hey, Tall. I would have e-mailed you, but you don't display your e-mail. I just posted this in a place that you seem to check often. Anyway... I was recently playing Domination, and two things came up.
First off, I was recently playing my brother a lot , and got to the ranking of Chief Warrant Officer 4. This morning, when I tried to open my file to do Target Practice, it said "This file is hacked." and I couldn't open it. If you could give me your e-mail or we appointed a date to meet on AIM and got my file back, I would appreciate it, as I like my ranking.
Second off, I was really bored today and opened up my packet sniffer. I quickly determined the protocol that Domination used for its online games. Then, using MacTelnet to verify what it could do, I opened REALBasic and contstructed a Domination robot. It's really cool, and I'd like to show you it. This would also require us meeting up by e-mail or by AIM.

I'm kind of over my programming phase and I don't plan on continuing to support Domination or the like. To "de-hack" your file, try stuffing it and then unstuffing it. It's a long story, but that might solve the problem.
Yes, you can use Terminal to send packets into Domination's internet port as well. I assume that your robot scans incoming target placements and immediately sends a shot command back to the host, is this correct? If it's not, I don't know what you need a robot for

About the player files: I'm trying that this second. (edit)...and it doesn't work. And now every time I start up Domination and create a new player file, it says that these new ones are hacked. I tried to re-install it... but it is not working. (/edit)
About the robot: These are the things it does:
? keeps track of the money won by both players ? handles nukes as if it were another Domination client ? has ten levels of difficulty, ranging from easy to impossible ? has an unlimited supply of money miracles ? taunts the other player (not with the sound taunts... yet)

That's really weird. Domination should never not accept newly created files. Is your system date correct?
To do audio taunts, have the robot send the following message:
SndChat07/taunt#
Where # is an integer from 1-9 (inclusive).
Okay, I'll try that. And you don't need to tell me to send that large string... I can just type:
send "Chat", "/taunt#", true (sends the "Snd" and the first parameter, followed by a number (length of the second paremeter) and the second paremeter. if the third paremeter is true, then it will append a zero to one-digit lengths. you see, I organize my code. :p)
I don't know what's wrong with the computer. I'll try using the download copy of Domination... it seems to work on my iMac. On my PowerBook (the computer giving me trouble), I installed it with the installer.
And I'd still like to talk with you on AIM! Come on, let us try to meet some time.

There isn't much of an open time for me. I should be online most of Saturday and Sunday... but any time until the Monday after next will work-- spring break.
