Hello all, I orederd FW on Monday, it should come soon (I hope). Just thought I'd join this great community, I've read every single topic on Ferazel Hacking and this board and you guys are geat! However, it looks kinda... dead at the moment. I've played the demo over and over and over... It's great. I can't wait for the real thing, but I wish ASW had made FW true shareware. Any Idea why they put it on a CD intead?

Hi Zephrex welcome to the boards. Hope you'll enjoy it here! I don't know why they put it on a CD but it's worth the wait. And when you've finished the original there's loads of level sets on the addons page.

Hey, Zephrex, welcome to the boards. I think the reason why Ferazel's Wand is on a CD is because it is around 100 megabytes, I think. My Ferazel's Wand folder has 256+ megabytes of crap in it because I collect worlds, and I am making my own (with Malcolm). I also have 140+ saved games from assorted worlds.

Heh, I have 35 saved game files from the demo alone. I could probably delete about 25 of those though.

Welcome Zephrex! I wouldn't be hyperventilating too much checking your mail - I ordered PoG a month ago and it just arrived this week, so (customs and all)if I were you I'd be planning on spending Christmas break Ferazelling.
The first thing you will have to do is make sure you have v1.03 - I don't know if they're still shipping v1.02 on the CD's, but if they are you'll have to download the update.

As for the reason MonsterLady suggested you ensure you have version 1.0.3, it has a bug fix that allows you to actually play one of the latter levels (and a bunch of other tweaks and such)
