I ordered Ferazel Wand on Saturday. soooo, I want to know how to use the level editor for Ferazel Wand. I also want know how to use plugins for Ferazel Wand .

To use plug-ins you need to download one, and there will be a file entitled "Ferazel's Wand World Data" Take the priginal copy and rename it "1st Ferazel's Wand World Data" Than move it to another folder and swap it with the new World Data you got.
And the ferazel editor..... That's scary. There are so many things you can do it's very hard to explain. My suggestion is to take a look at the Hacking boards and search for something along the lines of "MASCOT Guide"

I'd recommend you play the game through first before starting in with creating levels. Make sure you have version 1.03 (I don't know what version they're shipping on the CD's, but mine came with 1.02 and I had to download the update.)

Don't worry about having lots of questions - we like helping. Just try to be specific about your questions. (How to use the Mascot editor is a little broad!) Try reading the FAQ's too.

Welcome aboard.
First off, do play the game first. Else you won't know what you could do, nor what you should do.
After that, play coughmycough custom levels found on the Add-Ons page at /games/ferazel/addons.html (I think that's right). That'll teach you how screwy you can get without being too screwy.
After that, READ THE FAQS! They will teach you everything you need to know about Ferazel editing. Find them (url="http://"http://www.AmbrosiaSW.com/cgi-bin/ubb/forumdisplay.cgi?action=topics&forum;=Mascot+FAQs&number;=59&DaysPrune;=20&LastLogin;=")here(/url).
With that, ask any and all the questions you need to to get started. Keep in mind that questions pertaining to ONLY the game should be posted in this forum, while topics about creating levels for the game should be posted in our sister forum, Ferazel Hacking.

Here I thought that you had outstanding linguistic talent, but if you say so, I'll go back to thinking of you as a dummy
If you want to use new world data files (or "plugins" as you call them), I recommend getting MASCOTJuggler (which isn't on the add-ons page yet; search the boards for it).
I have a new version of it, but so much is going on... iTools is gone forever, my hard drive has been erased (no worries, I've pretty much fixed it by now), and I have other projects to work on also...
Speaking of other projects, one is ICE, the Improved Conversation Editor. I hope to get at least a beta of it out as soon as possible so you can all edit MASCOT conversations more easily.
Anyway, those are two little programs you won't want to miss.
Oh, and another project of mine is a MASCOT guide, which should (hopefully) teach you a lot about the editor. But since it isn't really complete now, read the FAQs like spamguy recommended.

Using the editor? EZ. Wanna learn about rock barriers? Youv'e come to the right place. First, take out the button you want to open a barrier with. If you don't want the button held down by a rock, type 1 in the spirite box. (Go to "Edit spirite info") Look around in the box for the spirite number. Example: "Edit spirite 274 of 275" take the number, create the barrier, open the barrier's box, and type the button's number. Hope you aren't confused.
