No, the "factory" (term used loosely considering it was one person) world does not use the mist potion. However, I can ahem recomend (url="http://"http://drtalll.tripod.com")a world that does.(/url)

And I can ahem recomend a world that actually looks nice and has mist potions: AND a website that was hand-coded (bad tripod!) and looks nice.

There are no mist potions hammers or vorpal dirks in the original game. In MASCOT however, you can add ANYTHING you want. Do note, only the mist potion and vorpal dirk work. Algerons, hammers, lockets don't work

But you CAN have them in conversations and in your inventory. I use them both in OU, and I think Dr. Tall land uses Algernon sards.
As does the ever-lovin' Extemporaneous.

Those three you mentioned that don't work may not in the usual sense, but they can still e in Ferazel's inventory and therefore can be used in conversations. Ex: a character needs an algernon shard and rewards Ferazel with gold.

I've put one in a game I'm creating. When I played it, I used the mist potion, and it seemed to make Ferazel turn into something weird and he floated down through the platforms and he went to the bottom of the level and died. It's a little weird to me.

Three months is hardly "really old", and you could have had at least the courtesy to answer his legitimate question.

The idea behind the mist potion is to allow you to scout out a level (or a part thereof) before attempting it. When the 'ghost' Ferazel appears you can move him around the level to check how things are going to be. Be careful though, if the powerup runs out before you return back to your body, you'll die.

He can also push buttons and pick up other potions and xicherons whilst a ghost but he can't open locked chests.

and you can't get to the exit, sometimes that can be a little irritating
checks date oh, I thought that was 2001
And I seem to remember that if you spin-jump with the 'ghost' Ferazel then you get all locked-up and eventually die... (What fun)

I have had this same problem, though it seems we may be the only ones. As it stands, I will not use Mist Potions in my levels. Also, I think the Mist Potion was meant to add one more wrinkle to whole, "getting past a doorway by pressing a button." This would force to conserve and use as a last resort. To bad its unstable.
Mabye so Emperor Ent,but it wouldn't surprise me if there where people with the same exact problem.
Hey Overridder, remember when you said Origganly posted by harryfan23 snip? Well I never posted the word "snip" and now I think you were being stupid and weird back there! (I just don't think what you said was very nice!)

At first Overridder720, I didn't understand what "mods" meant. But I've seen the word "mod" in other topics and "mods" means moderaters.
