Ferazel + Diablo II

I had lots of free time 😛 .

My days at the habnabit citadel were numbered. I fought sleep for days, for when I slept, the memories retured. Memories of the caves, and the evil which had clamed them. Memories, images... I could not tell the difference.

A cloaked figure walks in... how could she have found me here? How was this broken shell of a habnabit, who could barely carry they weight of her own wand, be the flying terror which I had been avoiding?

Fire, demons! Resurrected Manditraki! Were these the same as in the caves... or were they born anew, within the wanderer?

Why did I follow her? I don't know. All I know is that when she beckoned, I came. We traveled west together, west... always into the west...

FERAZEL II AND EXPANSION - LORD OF MANDITRAKI

We traveled west, over the broken lands and arid deserts. My companion told me of herself, and that she had once been a great wizzard, but was defeated when she got overly-arrogant and power-hungry.

At last, we were across; we climbed the last ridge. And there below us lay the shining jewel - Lut Earthend! And for the first time in days, I slept.

But the memories returned. However, these were clearly not my own. I saw a great Habnabitian mage and his breathren. They had cornered a great demon, Arhcix, and were to bind him within a sacred Algernon. However, when their attempts failed (and the Algernon was shattered), the mage selflessly voluntered to contain the demon within himself, completing the prision. His breathern and the Arcwizzard Gerodias buried him in a tomb under the sand, to wrestle with the demon for all eternity.

"Now you know what I seek, Ferazel. We set out with the dawn."

My companion took in the dank, musty air of the crypt. It seemed to... strengthen her.

I stood at the doorway between light and dark. What was left of my sanity implored my not to enter. However, that was only a whisper now.

I could barely see in the dim light of the tomb, however, my companion seemed to know the way. She seemed to be gaining strength.

At last, we came to a great hall. It was then that I realized that my companion hadn't been gaining strength... she had been loosing what was left of her... normailty.

Ahead, I saw the great mage (little did I know that I also saw Arhcix contained within him) bound to a stone. My companion began moving with demonic speed, and then Gerodias appeared:

"Stop! The demon contained herein shall not be set loose - not even by you!"

Gerodias fought her then, down into the depths of the prision. Then I heard a calling. It was from the mage.

"Look what they've done to me! Help, release me! Look, help, hurry!"

Not knowing what I was doing, I carefully walked forward to the binding stone, and pulled it from his chest. Too late I heard Gerodias yell, "NO! Stop!"

Before I could realize that the mage was even free, Gerodias was uppon me.

"FOOL! You have just ensured the doom of these seven lands. You cannot BEGIN to imagine what you have done. Take the stone to the Temple of Storms. There you will find the gate to the Ice World open before you. You will take the stone to the Iceconoclasm Forge where it will be destroyed. You must find the courage to step through that gate. Now take the stone and run!"

What choice did I have? I ran.

I can't think of anything for acts 4 and 5. Oh, well.

I take the part about Act 4 back. I had even more free time 😄

I ran to the Temple of Storms, were I found my companion, who I knew now to be Xichra, and her brother Arhcix opening a sacred gate. I heard a voice, like a thousand needles in my heart, which could only have come from the great dark lord - THE Manditraki himself!

"Hello my siblings, Xichra and Archix. We will let the full horror of the Ice Land come upon this world. The skies will rain ice, the seas will be as snow! Let the gate to the Iceconoclasm be opened!"

What I saw then was not ment for habnabitian eyes. Manditraki, Xichra, and Archix all combined their power torwards the gate, and a great wave of cold seemed to wash over me. Xichra began to walk forward as Manditraki instructed her,

"You will be the guardian of the gate, Xichra. Go forward into the Ice World and prepare its minions to pour forth into this world!"

I began to draw up the courage to run for the gate.

Thank you.

I have finished the main story, and most likely won't do the expansion soon (as I'll be gone on vacation).

THE FOLLOWING WILL VERY LIKELY RUIN THE END OF DIABLO II!

Afterwards, I left for the great Maze of the East, to hide. Manditraki and their minions kept following me. That's when you found me, Gerodias.

I heard later that... she had been defeated, and her mask destroyed at the Iceconoclasm Forge.

"I'm... sorry Gerodias. I couldn't do it! Please forgive me, Gerodias!"

"Give me the stone, and all will be forgiven. Give it to me! "

"Here, take it! Look what its done to me! I have lost my magic power! TAKE IT!"

"Thank you, old wizzard. You have done exactly what you were ment to do. However, I am NOT the Arcwizzard Gerodias..."

"The mage... no... what have I done!?"

"Thank you. Now goodbye, Ferazel. You will see Gerodias soon..."

It's not... just a (funny) spoof of what you get when you place the story of Diablo 2 in the world of Ferazel.

Someone would probably know that it wasn't true, Sinclair44. Because how could you have all of that free time???!!!?!!?
