"Return" help?

Ok, maybe I'm a very silly person, but I can't get through "Trapped". I easily beat everything up til that wall way up there. I went back over the whole level, and I can't figure out what I'm missing.

I can see that level below on the "last" level, but I can't get there. I know I'm supposed to free all the guys, but I can't find anyone to free.

There is a transporter hidden behind a rock. It is just before the swinging (can't think of what they're called right now) pendulum knife thingies. Try pausing just before them.

You're no sillier than the rest of us.

I got that part. I can't finish the whole level though. I beat the mandraki thing, and i found all that secret stuff above it (the hidden walls) I just can't get anywhere new.

Above the Mandatraki warrior are three passages. The first two have armadillos in the third one has the lost habnabits in. One of those habnabits opens the barrier so that you can get out the exit. However he will only open the barrier if you have been to all the other levels in the game.

Alright, I got to all those passages up there, but there isn't anything there, and there's no habnabit up there. There's just an unbreakable wall thing, like all the stuff I blasted through, only I can't blast through it. I can't get to the level below the part with the spikes and the floaty thing. And in the first part I can see a spikey ball down below that I can't get to.

I must be missing something major here.

I'm sorry I don't seem to be able to work out where you are. The best thing I can do is give you a complete run through - anyone who hasn't finished it read no further.

You come in from the top right - kill a couple of goblins and read the note. Shoot up at the ceiling to get the boulder which holds the switch down so you can cross the first acid pool. At the other side of the acid pool switch the switch hidden by snowy plants. Go through the teleporter beside the save point and jump all the gaps to switch the switch at the end - then go back through the teleporter. You should now be able to go over the big acid pool easily. Kill the armadillos and go through the passage.
This comes out by the ruins where there is another armadillo then you come to a rock on the path. Hang around behind the rock and you get to a small cave where you have to roll the boulder off the switch. Then back through the passage which takes you back to the ruins. Go past the spikeballs, kill a couple of goblins and you will come to a boulder jump the boulder for the time being and a little further on you have to dig down and right (using the ice-pick you got in "Underground Forrest") to get to a switch which is behind three multi crystals. You need to go back and get the boulder and push it against the switch which releases the stone barrier.
Swing across the next acid pool and up onto the ledge then up and right takes you into a small cave where you get some poppy muffins. Then go through the teleporter.
Now you go left. Across the spikes, through the zeridium pool, kill the gremlins across the gaps kill the Mandatraki Warrior, then you come to the rock barrier which won't open.

Use your V Blade (from the other boss level) and shoot up between the two rock barriers. Go up into the tunnel above you. Go right killing armadillos, go up, go left - another armadillo. Fireball the passage in front of you. Carry on left then up then right. The wall in front of you needs fireseeds, then you are in the entrance to the habnabit hideout. If you've completed all the other levels one of the habnabits will open the rock barrier back down by the Mandatraki warrior. If not he will tell you to find the rest of the levels and come back.

That's it. A complete walk through. If you do that you will have seen the whole of the level.

Ah, I had already done all that except fireseeding the last wall.

Thanks!

Got 100% of everything up till "Trapped," but there is NO transporter hidden behind any rock anywhere near the swinging thingies. I get Ferazel to hop up on the rock you're saying there's a teleporter behind, and all he does is shrug at me and do his little dance. Cute, but I wanna get past that @#!%#*@!#! ice wall!

Help!!!

There should be a big boulder off a small jump. Right from behind there should be a dip and oyu should just walk onto it.

In other words. There's a boulder. Walk past it and you should get on it.

I've walked past, on and over every boulder from the start of the thing right up to the ice wall, and there's no transporter! Ferazel just shrugs and then goes into disco mode. Can anybody provide a screen shot of the place where there's supposed to be a transporter?

This is too weird. For the past two days I've been trying to find that transporter; I've had Ferazel all over and around that boulder, and nothing happened. Now all of a sudden, not only does he transport, I can't get him to walk past the thing without winking out. Liz, how did you get into my computer?

P.S. Okay, ready for more levels now.

P.P.S. Great ride, Liz!

yeah, the first time you have to wait a little bit.

My thanks for the helpful advice, anyway. Now, where do I go to get treated for Ferazel withdrawal? :frown:

go to your local Feraz-holics Anonymous...

Thanks for the tips. I downloaded Veranna a while back and I just finished downloading Dr. Tall Land and all the doodads to go with it, plus ResEdit from Tucows. Now I have to go figure out how to use ResEdit and install the game.

P.S. Will somebody tell me how to get a new password emailed to me? I really AM registered already, since last March, as Starstuff!

Do you still have your original email account? If so... (url="http://"http://www.AmbrosiaSW.com/cgi-bin/ubb/Ultimate.cgi?action=lostpw")http://www.AmbrosiaS...i?action=lostpw(/url)

You'll get your password mailed to your email address. If, however, you've had to change your mailing address, you'll have to create a new name. Sorry. That's just the way it is.
