I am in Xichra's Lair, I have 7 smite rings, 2 bottles of magic potion, know about the ledge BUT I use it all and she's still flying around. PLEASE give me a direction, hint, or whatever. Thanks in advance.

Also: Make sure your inventory's full of seeds (fire and ziridium). I found that using the cannons before they start rotating works really well, and, if you can get the timing, the are relatively accurate afterwards.

To get full seeds you need to find Dimbo in the Labryinth and tell Nimbo. Do this just before Xichra. Nimbo will give you all fire/zir. seeds. Jump off the raised platforms above the ground and throw seeds at Xichra. Just keep going and block fireballs with your shield and than it's up to you

By the way, there's a bug that disallows you to use the Ice pick and makes the fire seeds go but they just end up rolling on the ground

I just HAD to see how it ended - and cheated! Will have to start again and accumulate I think. I got lots of seeds from the guy in the ice world and they worked on Xichra but didn't have enough rez necklaces but how do I talk to Dimbo? Have played two full games - in the first he simply disappeared, in the second he told me Nimbo told him not to talk to strangers and that was it. Haven't found everything yet and still haven't come across the hammer. What level is that in? Anael

Ah - here's the bug...
If, when leaving the Central Caverns, you find Nimbo's treasure, when you first meet him he will call you a thief and you have to give him his money back. (I always try to spend it all first, on ice pick and fire seeds, so when I go see him he takes the few coins I've got and is satisfied.) After you give him his money back, and complete the conversation and leave the area.
THEN come back in again. Nimbo will greet you and ask you about your cloak and the rest of the conversation will go on. Now you can go and find Dimbo. Once you've found Dimbo, you can go back to Nimbo, but only after you have entered the mountains.
Hope this makes sense. Have fun. I've only been able to save 12 Smite Rings, but I'm sure there are a few more in the fire levels that I've just ran past...
