how do you get to purple haze?

could someone please tell me how to get to purple haze. I have been tring to get to this "secret" level for age's! :frown:

You get to it through the O & E level..look for the grave between the two purple pools and then blast through the east wall with fireballs. You'll be in a room with mushrooms I believe...there's a ledge on the east wall, toss fireseeds up here and you'll find yourself in another room with what looks like a bunch of ledges. Hit the "up" key as if you were going through a tunnel door, you'll get where you want to go from there.

You can also try this:

In the level Obfuscation & editification there is a place with two pits filled with acid and each pit has a elevator.
Drop into the pit on the right side and fall off the screen at the right side of the pit.
I actually found purple haze by an accident.

Just wondering, how many people found it the first way and not the second?
I found it the second way.

Oh Man i think I Know most people found it by accedent. I know I did. I felt so happy about beating the previous level I ran through it with 3 full health blocks I lipped and fell and couldent remember how to get there again.

I found it by accident.

In the demo version, Ben blocked the Purple Haze exit. Instead, he put many xichrons and a rez necklace.

So, when I played the full version, I wanted to get the xichrons and rez necklace. After the room with the mushrooms, you must drop fire seeds and you will find a pseudo-door (in fact, it's nothing more but holes in the rock). When I got to the secret room, surprise! No rez necklace. So I jumped and... I found Purple Haze.

I found it by accident the second way.. or should I say my sister did in the Demo. She fell through into the acid and started frantically trying to swim to a wall. Suddenly, the game ended. I tried it in the full version and found the secret level. The strangest thing is, she doesn't know how to get to it (or she didn't put two and two together).

I'm surprised at all of you - isn't there some sort of warning NOT to tell others about the secret level? JK

(Actually, I had to have someone tell me where it was, although I did find it once accidentally by falling into the acid!)

I found Purple Haze by accident, too. In the demo, I tried to get the RezNecklace from the acid, and then I beat the level and thought it was a bug. When I got the full version and made it to Ob & Ed, I tried to beat the level by cheating and then I got to Purple Haze. But I thought you couldn't get anywhere else from Ob & Ed so it took me a long time before I figured out that you could get to The Labyrinth.

All this just because I tried to cheat :redface:.
