Resolution Bug

If you turn on resolution switching on a titanium G4, ferazel's wand decides to switch the the stretched version of the 640x480 mode instead of the (IMO) more tasteful "keyhole" mode which puts black bars on the left and right sides. Stretched ferazel is not pretty. All of ambrosia's other resolution aware games (MR, BT, Slithereens) use the keyhole mode. What's up with this?

I don't think Ferazel's Wand picks it. I remember hearing problems like this (on one of Apple's dev lists) with the Cinema Display. I can't remember what the fix was though.

Odd that BT, MR and Slithereens use a different format. Isn't the code identical?

Anyway, do you know of a workaround?
