I need help with the 1st fire level, Into the Frying Pan. Or wait, is that an Ares level? Whatever, you know what I mean. I think I've gotten about 2/3rd's through it, but I don't know how to beat it and I don't feel like cheating. I've gotten past the place with ziridium brine, (the one in which you need the high jump powerup), and right now I'm saved at the place with the red ameoba thingy and the vertical platform. I'm relying on you to know which place I mean. Now what's the next step? How do I beat the level?

The first fire level is "Fire in the Hole". If this is where you are, go to the left to get a crystal, then keep going left to the very far left and blow up some boxes and depress the button. (This opens the door up above) Use your V-blade to cut a hole in the roof and go up to collect the xichrons there. Then go back down, go back to your right and use the cannon to go up. Go to the right for a save point. You can use your V blade to kill the flying things. Go left to get another crystal, but it is not necessary to keep going left. Then go back down.
oh...what the heck. Do what the rest of us did... keep wandering around until you've found everything. There is a very well hidden secret in the area below where you get the V blade - a hint is to use the V blade alot to find secret passages (and keep going left). There is also a very important button in the room where you get the walk on lava powerup.
