I have just finished (after many gruelling hours!) POG, and I have to say congrats on a well-written and enjoyable game. I have just a few nagging Qs...
WARNING! these may be spoilers for some people!
Was there any purpose to the sea shells??
Mongo's Termite Farm: was it anything other than fun? (I met the guy south trying to deliver my termite, I have no idea how he was going to get to Gidolan Keep...)
I never actually went close to Gidolan Keep - the closest I went was a few squares south to the dwarf, which I approached from the cyclops coast side. Did anybody find a reason to go close? cool weapons maybe? (After one encounter with a sea giant in which he easily sliced through 124 armor, I decided my curiosity just wasn't worth it...)
I met a few characters which seemed important (or fun?) at the time, which I made notes in my journal, but they turned out to be nothing later on - were these people red herrings, or did they have a purpose? Xenakis the fortuneteller the lady with the elven bed (Har har har) Vortek and the assassination plot the monk (Heldun?) guarding the divine hat - where was his monastery anyway?
If anybody has any answers, I'd love to hear them
Best wishes to all
Chris
May you never be without Misery in a tight spot
the only use ive had with the seashells is to make a profit from them, and as far as i can tell the termite farm is just a waste of money. as for the rest, maybe AAC can help you.

1. I havent found any other use for them other then selling them, but theres a rumor that they can be used for somthing.
2. there a waste of cash I think, but mabe something can be done via plug-in.
3. Nothing there, you cant get it and giants are everywere. If you get bored and make your character a god like mine, its just a good place to kill giants.
4. Some are just for fun, others seem like good ideas for plug-ins

speaking of godlike stats, how do you get them so damn high? when i use pandoras box, i can only have one godlike stat at a time. when i change another stat (or anything for that matter) or eat something to increase my stamina my godlike stat goes back to its normal level. on my best friends and fellow mac lover's computer, my other pc-huggin friend can get all of his stats up to 200000 at the same time. am i doin sumthin wrong, or something with my computer (300Mhz sys 8.6) its really startin to piss me off. but im not to bad right now. without hacking ive got most of my stats up to 300+. but any help would be appreciated
