And I thought Frying Pan was hard!
In ends of the Earth after the 1st save poitn. I'm standing on the cliff preparing to jump into the green springs. Any advice on how to cross these things successfully?
I'm able to get near the far edge. Once there I'm bounced left and right and can't get to the final upward facing spring. I'd love to hear any advice.
Thanks, Capella

Here's my advice. Jump on top of the three way spring, then bounce all the way to the three way spring on the far right. Then you can get to the door.

Cal, Fine advice. I can't seem to make my way to the farthest right 3-way spring.
If I recall the set up correctly leaving the cliff gets you to a 2-way, up/down. Jumping to the first 3-way to the right you can jump to a 2-way, left/right. The right facing spring sends you towards the cliff edge but there is another 2-way, left/right, in the way. I hit this every time, usually falling into the abyss. I'd like to try catching the lowest 2-way but can't seem to get there.
I think this is something I just have to figure out. I just hate having to do it over and over and over and over.
Cheers, Michael

Here's what worked for me - jump forward onto the first single low spring, then go forward onto the next triple spring, then go forward to the next double spring - it should start throwing you back and forth - after a few times it will throw you down to the wall - be ready and grab the wall and climb up!! Good luck
After 'bout 300 tries, finally got across the springs. Went through door. Died a couple of times and had to start again over at the springs, but finally figured out all the buttons. (springs getting easier now - only takes 10-20 tries) Went through next door. Got half way across & died. Last save point was before springs. Aargh! Is there a save point I'm missing somewhere? Also, a hint as to how to get into the purple pool in the middle of the hill? Thanks
The springs frustrated me too until I found out this secret: Right before the spring section is a rock outcropping, the kind that is in the foreground, you know? Anyways, hidden behind this is a save point! Just jump onto the middle section, wait a bit, then your ame will be saved tr
I don't think there is another save point until the end, but I do know how to get to the PRJ- Use your Zir/Fire seeds then use your ice pick. Good luck!
'kay. Thanks.

TOMMANR is right. The rocks hide the save point and both are directly under the seemingly pointless vertical line of Xichrons before the springs.

I had found that save point already. I was hoping there was a save point "After" the springs. However, perseverance has paid off - I can now clear the springs pretty much on the first or second try. I've now made it all the way through (without any save points until the end), and am trying to figure out how many times Xichra is going to hit the floor before she doesn't get up again (argh!). You'd think 99 Zir seeds, 99 Fire seeds, 3 res necklaces & 6 smite rings would be enough!

An additional minor hint: Seemingly pointless vertical lines of xichrons often "point" to something (up or down).

Hehehehe... Also, I went through Fez a second time and have to agree with Dian, its seems a little chaotic at first but I never had to try crossing it again. I think FriendlyGuys description for getting the PRJ(what is that and the heath crystal?) is the same way for getting into the purple hill. Also, ice pick is a cheap way to break through most weak walls.

I'm not quite following you, TIE. PRJ is short for Purple Rejuvination Juice, or that pink stuff that refills your health. Is that what you meant??
Heath crystal was actually your typo of health crystal in another topic about Hangnabit. My bad. I still haven't found the crystal there. I was also chuckling with Grandalf. Dian mentioned bouncing between two triple springs in Ends of the Earth. It worked for me but it looks chaotic at first. Your def. for getting the PRJ and Lady's question for getting into the pool didn't click in my mind. My bad again. Also, I've started my third game and I'm now using the update and the game is so much easier now, its crazy.

K, now I get it. Yah, the update not only fixes a lot of bugs, it gives a bunch of extra save points too.

Only in a couple of levels. The ice ones.

Yah, that's what I was thinking of, mostly Flash Freeze.
What's so tough about the springs? I got 'em on my second try. Now Flash Freeze! That's even harder than Xichra. Anyways I've heard people call the purple health bath stuff so many things, but it clearly states in the manual that these are 'pools of ziridium brine'. I just wanted to clarify that.
