I'm only a level 14, pathfinding, 8-18damage+2, 36 armor but I have found little I can do. I can't go to Gidolan because I can get killed easily by giants.I can't conqueror the molespider cave because of the mindbenders. The lumberjacks wouldn't help me with the fortifcations. I don't know where the perugo forest is to find the thief. Where is the witch?I can't get to the book where the two men are so i can go to the Learning Tree. I am kinda frustrated.
Minor Spoiler Alert The book you need to find to gain access to the learning tree is a short distance south of Frantrima, and in order to get the lumberjacks help you need to go west of their camp and kill all the ookwasps by the bridge.
If you want more detailed instructions just ask, and I, or possibly somebody else, could give those too.

ok way past the book, now where is the elf(plains of endless wind) from the sign in the north on the way to Berglum. I looked up elf so I can talk to him like one post said. I need to talk to the elf so I can get a shield kill giants at Witch Finger, right??
Witch finger is not tell much later, if you have not even helped the woodsmen build the bridge, you have quite a ways to go.

I too have little that I can do. I need to catch a dark fairy, but I need the Awareness skill first; I can't get the Awareness skill as I am far from being able to defeat the monsters of the Varandeep passage; and I need to get that general out of the Ghost Swamp, but I can't find him anywhere. Where can I possibly go next? My stats are: Level: 15 Damage: 16-43 Armor: 32 Title: Page Skills: Pathfinding Levels of Learning Tree Access: 1st, 2nd
The general is in the middle of the swamp in a cave cleared and guarded by two knights. And you dont "need" to get the dark fairy. its a nice side quest though.
I know where the general is in the Swamp, I just don't know where he is in the cave.

Ugh, my memory is kind of fuzzy, since once you talk to the elf he activates a portal which makes getting to him much, much quicker. Anyhow, when you find the sign saying south to the plains of endless winds, go that way until you get to a screen where you cross a bridge with another sign saying Varendeep Lake south, ruins east. Go east to the ruins. In the center(approximately) of the ruins there is a portal platform(circlular disk under an arch). On the same screen there should be a cave(northwest corner I believe). Enter the cave, fight your way to the bottom, and you will find the elf.
After you've talked to him, you will have to get south of varendeep lake. To do that head south til you find a cave, fight your way through, and then head west to find the second order.

YOu need to look up "orders" in the learning Tree, then "order of seasons" then he will talk
ok now I have to find the other tooth near Varendall Lake I'm the other side after goin under the lake by tunnel. I wandered around but nothing, anyway I'll keep looking but any advice is well recieved.

Where can I find Mesera? I've gotten past the Varandeep Passage, and I've looked for Mesera in some of the inner parts of Perugo Forest, but I can't find him. If there is a NPC that can point me to him or something, please tell me that instead.
