Red Xirchons

Is there anywhere besides at the Ends Of The Earth that you can use red xirchons? In the documentation, doesn't it say you can use them to get to secret areas? The Ends Of The Earth is hardly a secret.

I haven't found any other place to use them. Maybe it was something that Ben decided not to incorporate into the game afterall.

I did find it interesting that there are still Xichrons to get once you GET to The Ends of the Earth. That would indicate that there MIGHT be another use for them. I'm thinking that there just might be another secret door or two, because of the way the map looks with the "flows," before you actually start getting the paths worked out. But none of the people who have looked into the resources have mentioned anything like that, so...

The manual says 100 golds make one red.
