Can I but escape rings from a merchant

Before the update, you could buy escape rings when you oredered fire seeds. Now that the game has been fixed, is there anywhere one can now buy escape rings?

Yes, there is; I forget his name, but the guy in Flash Freeze who sells you the ice pick also sells escape rings.
