Thanks, Ambrosia - for your patience, your great products, your accessibility, etc. Gotta run back to Ferazel. Can't wait to play again now that the update is here. What can I say - I'm hooked!! 🙂

I just install the update and rush into level with "Fire Guardians", unfortunatelly there are still not on the screen ...
So it seems that "Fixed Fire Guardians getting put in the wrong place if you used the Escape Ring while fighting them" is not fixed.
Please do not tell me that I have to restart a game from the beginning, I really want to finish this one ...

With regards to the offset Fire Guardians: if you're using an old saved game, they'll still be misplaced (because it's getting their positions from the save file.) If you email me your saved game, I can reset them, and 1.0.3 will not mess them up again for you.

Is this the same for the glider in Hagnabit? Should I send in my game to get that fixed? I've sent my game to you before - Dissapearing statue spell, I'm in Flash Freeze, will the Ice Wall bug be fixed without me seding my game to you because I haven't gotten to Iceconoclasm yet?

Ben... Perhaps you could post somewhere what bugs are fixed just by running the update versus what bugs require you to either start a new game or go back to before the bug occurred for them to be fixed.

Also, the list of fixed bugs says that Fixed merchant conversations in Iceconoclasm. Did the problem with Rojinko taking your money but the potion not showing up in your inventory get fixed too?

The merchant problem was fixed for me without having to restart the game, (including Rojinko..yay!) so was the glider. But I had a fairly good idea though, that if you had already started a level before you added the update that the bugs in that level wouldn't be fixed. For instance, you're not going to suddenly get the ice wall spell in your inventory instead of the ice crystal one. I do think that the update should work on the levels you haven't started yet. The thing to do would be to try, and if it still doesn't work either resign yourself to starting a new game or send your games in to Ambrosia to be fixed.

HURRAY!

Unfortunately, the short time I have been able to test the update has already revealed a new bug (or at least strange behavior not previously present): when at the map, and with caps lock key down, quitting produces an immediate Type 12 error and a suggestion to restart the computer. My Apple TIL guide to error codes says a breakpoint may be called which requires a debugger; if not present the error code pops up. Whether that is still true for a Power Mac I don't know. Might require looking into, though, to remove the problem.
