In the third demo level, all the goblin sprites have been replaced by gray "sprite not loaded" boxes (I must be the most trouble-plagued Ferazel player ever). Is it lack of memory, or some other evil bug? (iMac 233, 36 megs RAM w. virtual mem. on)

I'm waiting for the day when "this side up" arrows appear on grocery bags.

This is a bug in the game that has been reported to the folks at Ambrosia - not your machine. You can still kill the "faceless sprites" and move ahead in the game.

It is more difficult to kill a goblin when you can't see where his sword is.
Don't worry about the sprite images not loading on level 3 you can still attack and kill them; instead, spend more time drinking the purple liquid.
...in other words, when it comes to sprites: Image is nothing, thirst is everything.
