It was called the ring of the gods (I think) and I got it from killing a giant. It gives you 20 armor and +3 to all stats except speed. About 2 minutes after I got it, my computer froze and I hadn't saved it since I got the ring. Anybody know where you can buy/quest for this item?

As far as I know you can only get it from sea giants.
actualy theres a fluke, It does effect speed. +3 speed, makes all that much cooler.

As I'm sure AA will back up, there are several other rings you can get from the giants that you can't buy, each gives armor plus effects other of your stuff such as dexterity, strength, etc. but the ring of the gods deffinitely seems to be the best item. Some names are Ring of snake, awk, etc.

Ring of gods is the only one you cant buy, the others can be bought at witch finger
