Never, mind, I figured out what I was doing wrong. Now I can kill them whenever I like as long as I am patient and stocked up with potions.

Not likely.. Every time I hit the monsters die... No matter what they are.. I think my none cheat might have a chance though(He has 500+ in each stat).. What do you think??

1. you need HP of more than 100 2. you need alot of potions! 3. You need to use your shield! (I have it up and let them hit first, then time my return blow after they hit me. Pause, wait for them to hit me again then repeat. A note, when you hear them make a loud grunt as they hit you, it is time to redo your potion most likely as that, for me anyway, always indicates I have just received at least 70, to 80 points of damage from the giant. Good Luck.
Also, you don't get alot of gold from them and also, so far the weapons I have received are two items I already have and use. The other note is that at least two of the five I have killed at this point gave me nothing afterwards, no gold, no item. So I kill a lot of minotaurs instead and then go sell the items and buy more potions. Hope that helps.

How much Luck do you have?? That will affect whether you get items or not..
