EV won't work!
Um, <_< Yah. I have a small problem with EV.
I downloaded Excape Velocity off of the Ambrosia Software CD and tried to play it.
The game started up fine but when I started the game screen was really jumpy.
EX: An Argosy would be in the lower left corner of the screen when it would suddenly "jump" and be almost on top of me. The entire game is this way including the way my ship responds.
Computer: G4, 80gb, OS X ver. 1.3.
Any Help would be Great.

Escape Velocity, and Escape Velocity Override have known difficulties in OS X. They were built for the previous generation of operating systems, Mac OS 9 and below. Running them in OS X enables the classic emulation layer, which is very slow. The solution isn't really all that bad. You will need to get a copy of Escape Velocity Nova, which is OS X native, and register it. This will allow you to use plug-ins, then you can use the EV and EV Override plug-ins available in the EV Nova add-ons section. Thus you are essentially getting all 3 games for the price of 1.
Hope this helps.

Playing EVO and EV through Nova really is the way to go.
Another idea:
If EV will run in OS9, then just install OS9x on your G4. I have a G4 mirror door, OSX 10.4.2. I also have Classic OS 9.2.2 installed on the same HD. Classic launches only when I startup EVO.

EVO works like a charm on my computer, but when you said using nova classic will it use the original EV plug-ins?
No. The plugins would have to be converted, and conversion has proved buggy.
