I don't meen to be critical
I don't meen to be critical, but is there some chance that the arriganal EV could be compatable with Windows?
Not that I know of. You can however, get EV Nova for windows, and port both EV classic and EV Override through the use of TC's (Total Conversion plug-ins). You would need to register Nova to be able to use the plug-ins though. You can learn more about this by going to the EV Nova webboard.
Food for thought.

Thanks. I found what you were telling me about, and now; What exactly do these Conversion plugins do? Just incorperate Classic EV into EVN, or make it a completely new game?

The conversion plugins basically replace the entire EVN universe with that of the original EV. In appearance it is very similar, but it isn't exactly the same - for instance, you're still using the AI from Nova so the enemies are a lot more intelligent, and you won't be able to use plugins for the original EV unless they were actually converted themselves.
It's very possible to run a primitive Mac emulator on a decent-spec Windows PC and run it that way - WarBeast made an excellent guide here. That way you can indeed run the original EV in it's real form on your PC.
It's up to you which method you want to try, but it's definitely possible to get your EV fix one way or another.
With the version with a dynamic recompiler, I can get EVC to run almost as fast as I ran it on my 6500. On an Athlon 64 system, it could run even faster.
That version isn't very stable, though.
Running the version in WarBeast's guide on my Athlon 64 3500+ is indistinguishable to how it was on my old G4 under OS9. Even whacking the resolution up high, it remains nice and smooth. Some system errors occasionally occur (the problems with running System 7.5.3, hehe) but they're rare.
The reason I play emulated original EV rather than using the Nova conversion is for the plugins. The original EV scenario is cool but lacks longevity, but the massive expansion plugins EVGE and Galactic Scourge remain some of the best examples of plugins in any member of the EV series.
