I'm 18, and I played EV when it first came out, can't remember when that was now. I managed to conquer the universe once, then left EV and forgot about it. A couple of years later, I load up the game and go: Why is everything green? why? WHY? WHY?

Started playing EV when I was 10. Then I got curious to see if there were any new EV games. Nova was the newest so I have been playing that ever since. Never even knew about override until recently. Started playing that as well.

I'm 17. I played EV just after it was released at my friends house. But my old mac was too weak to hold it so I had to weight until my family finally got an imac to renew my adiction. I love every EV game. Peace out.

I took over Earth (by cheating). You can do the same thing I did if you download the Takeitover Package. Nice idea on hitting Caps Lock, that would have saved me a good 4 hours.
I'm 15, and I started playing in 1997. So I was roughly 8. Now I'm attempting to teach my 5 year old brother how to play. The only thing he's good at is holding down the space bar for me during battle.

Being 50 I have little time left, let alone waiting for Planet defenders to reach me. I sussed that there was a pattern to the defenders of most Planets. Standing out in space quite still, I wait, once they start advancing I hit the "caps lock" and the fun really begins. It is amazing. By three in morning my head is buzzing, but, the feling is good. I'm fourteen. I orignially got hooked on the game when my dad brought a laptop in from work that had EV on it. I loved the game a ton and played that laptop non-stop while it was at my house. Needless to say that annoyed my dad who didn't get any work done. I was about 8 years old. By the way, it only took me a few minutes to figure out the controls, but since my dad is CIO for a corportation, and I've been around computers since...forever, that makes sense. My dad loves macs, but gets PC's for the house (strange, i know) He finally got a mac for the house, albeit a used one. I searched on that mac for hours, and finally found EV. It was unregisterd, which was fixed about a year later, the constant running from CaptainHector was getting annoying. Ahhh...the story of a long lost love reunited again...
