Well, since of a new understanding, my attack fleet is actually:
10 Corvetts, 20 Rapiers and 1 Lightning = 50 mil
For my defense fleet:

No. Cruisers and their weapons/contents count as one vessel.

Trugati, you as a subbordinate do not get a defense fleet. Just the attack fleet that you have already chosen. You're fine.
Defense fleets are for planets. Every planet has one and no one controls them until they are attacked. The leader of a government chooses the defense fleet for each planet. This can be made alot easier on everyone if they choose one assortment and use it for all planets.

You are fine aside from the fact that 37 Mantas(Rebel Fighters) costs 6.66M and not 4.8. I missed this on another rebel fleet as well(dunno who's it was). I would like both of you to correct this please.

Work continues(albeit only when Jimbob is on AIM). I think he and i will be able to iron out any more problems within an hour or 2 if we manage to be on at the same time again. The story will definitly start within' a week... I hope...

Do we have to pay for the mantas that come with the crusiers? aren't they included in the price of the cruiser?

Price of fighters are included. Ah, i see now. The 37 was including the fighters from the Cruisers...
Still, that's not an accurate price. 37 - 28 = 9 Mantas 9 x 180,000 = 1.62M
Either way, it's off by something.

I could nit-pick right now and inform you that 27 Mantas costs 4.86M and not 4.8M, but i wont.
The way things are going there will probobly be a new thread(at Jimbob's suggestion), because this one is getting cluttered with failed explainations and rule-problem fixes.

We have settled on EVula's prices. The prices you worked that fleet out on are the cheapened versions available in EV only on certain planets. We are going to stick with the rounded off prices that are at (url="http://"http://www.EVula.com/survival_guide/")www.EVula.com/survival_guide/(/url) .

That makes for a total of...125mil! YAY! no more problems, and no nit-picking is allowed!
So, that makes 63 ships in all, not to bad for a merc fleet. Still have a 3 jump limit due to the defenders though.
Excellent. Everything seems to be in order. Jimbob, can you think of or find any problems we have yet to fix? If we find nothing we can start Thursday or Friday depending on real life interferance...
