Hello all, its been along time since ive posted here so here goes: Does anyone know where I can find sprites for the confed frigate (my fav ship) that match the shipyard/comm/icon graphics (dark grey worn look.) Thanks.

While all of the shipyard and comm graphics were modified in the later versions of EV, some of the sprites were never changed from their same appearance in the initial release of the game. About the only way you could get a sprite identical to the newer shipyard / comm pics of the 'Fed Frigate is to re-render the game model. And to my knowledge, the original EV models were all lost years ago to a freak accident.
Best alternative: make your own Frigate with a 3D app.

If you think about it, carnage can be good for you.
I can easily re render the Confed Frigate for you if you wish. I have a cloning procedure that allows me to turn a sample from the shipyard pic into a texture.
Destroyer E, Confed Frigate is correct. Go check the game. The Confed Frigate is one of my favorites as well and It is fairly simple so I'd be happy to help you.
in case you are interested I have a file on my harddrive which I downloaded from the EV addons page with magma style versions of all ships. They don't exactly match the shipyard pics but they're pretty cool. search for "graphics up for grabs" using (url="http://"http://www.evula.org/infernostudios/search.html")space pirates plug search engine(/url)
