Now check out this story. Happened just a few minutes ago. I'm minding my own business overthrowing planets, `I take a break somewhere to refuel and sell some gear. Leaving the safety of TurinV the Alien Fighter is back bussing around my head like an unwanted fly. Armed now with the tractor beam I grab this little sucker by the short and curlies and proceed to tear it apart. Next thing I know a Rebel Destroyer is hitting on me, giving me some real grief. I am forced to let go of my short haired friend to save my own rear end. Whats the crack with this Rebel can't he see that I'm busy. Some people, I ask you.

The rebels are scum, what else can I say, also this happens if you are rebel, the confeds attack you if you are fighting. As for the fighter. You will continue to see it after you complete the storyline.

Once you kill it, does it come back? If not, are there two of them? If you kill them with the cruiser in the original mission, do they still come and get you? btw, I'm playing EV, not the conversion, V1.0.5
Yeah, it doesn't matter what you killed it with, but after you killed the cruiser, you will occasionally see alien fighters, and they will never dissappear.
