What are some of the funniest, or most annoying experiences you have ever had while playing Ev. My most recent happened just 5 minutes ago. I just started a brand new pilot in Brotherhood of the Kestrel, as soon as the game started I was attacked by a bunch of pirates, I never had a chance. No wonder it said that I was going to need even more than luck to survive.

I had a similar problem in ROP. Every time I jumped into the altiar system I was accosted by the most annoying corvette. It happened like twenty times before I got lucky and an earth destroyer fought it while I escaped.

I've edited the game so that every ship had a docking bay with a ship inside. Infinite battle sequences, anyone?

I once made this plug where the Rebels & Feds were both in the same system at the start, so they fought, and once a Rebel Destroyer (or maybe it was a Cruiser) was immoblized right near me. I boarded it, and I had about a 1% chance of capture, but I captured it. I didn't make a backup so later I was destroyed by either the Feds or Rebels, I can't remember which.

A similar thing happend with me, but I got a Confed Crusior, and I landed in time.

Hmm... Funny experiances... Well when i had first started the game I had a friend that would come over and play it aswell. I had just finished killed the Alien Cruiser, and thought to myself how easy it was... When my friend got that far, i enjoyed watching him struggle.

What I remember is the first time I saw the alien cruiser, i jumped in expecting a cake walk, I remember quite well what happened, two SAD modules hit me and downed my sheilds, dodging the rest of them I charged the cruiser head on. Next thing I knew I was on the title screen. Took me forever to learn not to get in front of that beam.

What ship were you flying at that point? A defender with armaplast?

Goodness... I didn't think the beam was that strong. I only got hit a couple times and only briefly for that matter. Guess i never took the time to find out how much damage it really did.
